Lewis and Michael Security Storage

Poor communication with my move. Took 8 hours to move my small one bedroom apartment. Due to it taking so long I could not completely wrap everything up in the city I was moving from. I had to pay for boarding my dogs and flights to go back and finish. Broke a large mirror before loading it into the truck. Didn't even clean up after themselves. One of the movers has a very awkward conversation with me about how the money for the mirror will be taken out of his pay and he could not afford it. They got my business and did not contact me about next steps. They took my items and did not contact me when it would be delivered. Only provided a range of a week. I waited and finally asked and was told the very next day. No time for me to make arrangements. I asked what hours they would deliver no information. Until I complained about the lack of communication then I only get the time frame but not apologies etc... To receive my reimbursement for my mirror. No one would call me back until I threatened to escalate. Accidents happen. Mirrors get broken. However, dropping the ball and just not caring at every step in the process is unacceptable. Don't use them and don't use Atlas Moving.

Definitely overcommitted on schedule making us wait on our beds, furniture, clothes etc. They worked hard with Atlas to try and provide a solution, but the upfront communication and overbooking could have been avoided. We mostly blame Atlas for overbooking and Tim with Lewis and Michael pushed for our stuff to ship to our new house. Thanks for working hard to find a solution.

This is review for delivery drivers, not about moving company. Maybe they good movers maybe not , I don’t know that. If you get there after business hours there is no parking, maybe 1 semi can fit in front of the gate. I got there early morning, check in with older guy named John. He told me to park at the dock and that he knows about the load I brought and he was waiting for it. So, I moved closer to the dock and guy who’s in charge there owner/supervisor/manager whatever his position is told me to move on the side and wait and they will call me when it’s the time. I did like he said. He shows bad attitude and just been arrogant for no reason. I heard his talking with other driver the same way . After literally 2-3 minutes John show up and ask me why I’m not at the door he told me to park!? No need for uncomfortable situations like this. Btw it’s tight and small yard, you have to go around the warehouse and make a u turn. Good luck ...

I recently used Lewis and Micheal movers. The experience was fantastic to say the least . I was moving from the Dayton area to the Columbus area . I sold my old house before I closed on my new house and Lewis and Michael packed and moved my whole house out and into secured storage . I closed on my house about two weeks later and the movers moved my belongings in right away. I must say I have never had a better experience with a mover, contractor or workman of any kind . They were quick professional and dressed nice . I will definitely use Lewis and Micheal in the future if I move again.
