If you have lost a loved one, they are absolutely the ones you want to handle all the details necessary. They were professional, caring, and spent the time necessary to help me through the difficult process of my wife’s passing. Great group of people that I can’t say enough about. Trent and the staff at Lewis Funeral Home were so caring and helpful when I came to them about arrangements for my husband’s impending death. They were able to ease my mind at once about arrangements and to accommodate my financial situation. Trent’s knowledge and experience in handling all of the paperwork needed to do notifications and to help our distant relations travel was invaluable/
Coming in from Ohio to handle my brother’s arrangements I was a nervous wreck. However, David took me step by step through the entire process in getting the necessary paperwork from the Medical Examiner’s Office for the release documents to be able to have my brother transferred to Louisiana for burial in our family tomb. He kept in touch with me on the status at the Medical Examiner’s Office then clearing up questions from that office which temporarily held up the release forms. He told me about what articles of clothing was needed and on the coordination of the transportation of my brother with the Louisiana funeral home. He gave me such a peaceful relief that all was being done in an orderly manner. I definitely do recommend Lewis Funeral Home for their personal attention in providing the very best for your family as they did for mine.
My mother passed away expectedly June 2022. My siblings and I live in NC and GA. My step-father passed away 2 years prior, and my mother used Lewis Funeral Home and was extremely pleased at how comforting and patient they with her , so it was without question that we would use Lewis Funeral Home again for my mothers needs. During this unplanned and difficult time for my family, Mr Lewis and his staff were very sympathetic, comforting and answered all our questions in such a caring and professional manner. This was my first experience with any Funeral Home. I didn’t quite know what to expect or what questions to ask; however they must have sensed this because they covered everything without me having to struggle with the words. They made me her daughter feel at ease and confidently offered their condolences. The communication was clear and precise and I knew my mother was in good hands. They even returned a gold ring that was on her hand that she was wearing. This business really goes the extra mile in reducing the stress of losing a loved one. I still have family in the Navarre area and I will say ~~ that if the time came that a family member passed ~ I would respectfully use Lewis Funeral Home again!!!

My mother passed away December 26, 2019. An awful time of year. And a shock. Lewis Funeral Home took care of my mother in so many ways. She had to be transported from Florida to Ohio, to be buried in the family plot. They worked miracles! We had to contact family members to make arrangements to get to Ohio. After, they had her, they dressed her, did her hair, make up, nails. We were concerned with the transport what she would look like. Let me tell you she was BEAUTIFUL!! Like she was sleeping. She had previously picked out her casket with the Funeral Home. The exact one her mother had been buried in. Things were meant to be. The Funeral Home also did my father's cremation. They let us come one last time to say good bye. We even got to cut locks of his hair. This Funeral Home takes pride in there personal touches. And your needs. This is truly a family Funeral Home that does every thing from start to finish with pride and great detail. I can't thank them enough in our time of loss.
