The Lewisburg Fire Department (LFD) was founded in 1897 with Price Miller in charge. The Lewisburg Emergency Unit was founded in 1975 with Robert Sewert in charge. The dedicated members of The Lewisburg Fire/EMS have been proudly serving the Village of Lewisburg and our contracted Townships of Harrison and Twin located in Preble Co. Ohio, ever since. Originally formed as a purely volunteer department, the Lewisburg Fire/EMS has since became a combination department with paid on call, part time and career members.
