We’ve held our monthly class dinners here several times, usually with 25+ attending. The food had always been good, served in a timely manner, & the servers do an incredible job attending to our every need.
Best golf course in mifflin county. The back nine is interesting with a few challenges. Greens are kept up nicely.
The grill room has changed hands. Same people. Same great food. Open to the public with some of the best views in the county.
Worst golf experience of my life. I've played here quite a few times this summer but that will stop because non members can only play 10 times a summer and I will not become a member at a course that is so unkempt. Went out yesterday with 2 friend and we each had our own cart because our wives were going to join us on the back nine, got stopped by 2 groups of members that I think may have been confused and thought they owned the course, they said we can't have our own cart apparently even if our wives were going to ride with. Golf is supposed to be a fun relaxing sport but it really is not that when you have members bugging you. Very disrespectful members. Will go toountain view next time
Fairways were a bit furry compared to some places. Not the biggest difference between rough and fairway. Some holes are set up very weird and if you are new to the course would have to guess where to hit it. Greens were punched within the month by the looks of it and were rolling very nice. Great staff and service
Great food and I was looking for a great pulled pork sandwich and salad - got it! Recommend LCC The Iron River Grill at country club for alternative to awing Man or JP Edwards on PENN State game day!!
Great staff. Was here last year and will be here next year. K-9 Hero Haven charity event. It's a beautiful place to golf.
VERY DISAPPOINTED! Fish in sandwich was too big for the sandwich. Looked like an entire block of haddock. Crust was hard and gummy. 5 out of the 6 of us ordered it and all were extremely dissatisfied with the meal. Will NOT return. Waitress was friendly and efficient.
We ate at the Wilderness Restaurant. The Bunker Burger was soooooo good! My father-in-law ordered the ABC Salad, it was HUGE! He might have eaten about a quarter of it and took the rest home! Average prices, great service.
Went to golf in August 2020 and the region was in a drought. Fairway and tee boxes were in bad shape with grass sparse. Greens were in excellent shape. Would definitely visit again under better conditions. Non-members can only make tee times 48 hours in advance.
