Lexicon Gallery is most often described as "like being in a New York City gallery".
After two years of the highly successful Cape Ann Ceramics Festival, Lexicon Gallery and Studios was born. Lexicon currently gives voice to 36 artists. Most are ceramics and now carrying select paintings, jewelry and mixed media.
After a smashing 2013 and 2014 opening, CACF brought together local talent coupled with masters from around the globe as well as promoting emerging artists via a series of shows and workshops. CACF was thrilled to partner with the Pucker Gallery, Boston, Lacoste Gallery, Concord, MA and the Rocky Neck Art Colony.
Now Lexicon Gallery has its own permanent space where every six weeks there is a new opening which is a pairing of ceramic art with 2D art... much like a food wine pairing. In addition, we have another 1200 sq ft of workshop space where masters offer workshops every 6 weeks. In addition, Lexicon has now begun renting our light filled workshop space to other artists.
