I've been in the beauty industry for eight years now. My goal is to create living canvases; a mixture of my creative expression and theirs.
I sometimes question why i am in the "beauty industry" because at times it seems superficial and seems to go against everything that i believe in. I believe in spirit; the essence of what we are which few people truely understand. We are not our bodies. We are our intentions. We are our vibrations. We are so much more than what it seems at a glance; so why would i promote appearance? I'll tell you why because when you feel good about the way you look, you can be at ease around other people. You can release some of the anxiety of social situations and let your true self shine through. You can fully engage in conversations with others and forget about those egotistical murmurs in the background of your mind. I love what i do because I'm teaching people that they are beautiful regardless of what their body looks like. Bodies are easily changeable. A beautiful soul is hard to come by.
