I entered the mortgage industry over fifteen years ago as a receptionist for a small firm in Tucson, AZ. Curiosity led me to read handbooks and guidelines, which progressed into mortgage processing, document preparation, underwriting, and loan origination. I have waded through refinance "booms", declining real estate markets, a national housing crisis, and now the regeneration of mortgage lending programs.
Through it all, my focus has remained on two things: the challenges home buyers encounter and the happiness they experience once those challenges have been overcome.
