My brother was admitted here after a horrible experience at a previous facility. The nursing staff was excellent along with the therapist, dietitian, etc. The staff is personable and I feel that they truly care about his well-being. I have to give a personal “thank you” to Ramona York for not only following up but the empathy she showed to me and my family during this experience.
Poor care. My mom came out worse than when she went there for rehab. They tell you they will take care of something but no follow through. Most of the nursing staff was unapproachable. I do want to give kudos to nurse Monica. She was very kind and helpful.
The Morley family sends a big THANK YOU to Anna and her team at Liberty Health Care Center!! Mom came in with a hip fracture and at age 95, it was going to be a slow road to recovery. The TLC was just incredible. The nursing team was terrific. Agata, mom’s nursing assistant was just like family to us! The nurses, too many to name, kept a close eye on mom’s recovery. Always calling with updates. Her meals were great and the activities were just what she wanted to do! Ramone’s rehab team is beyond rock stars! Jim, Carl, Bill, everybody. They knew just how to push mom at the right time. Thank you all for taking such great care of mom!!
So many problems at first I feel they need to improve in a lot of areas, that being said, problems I had was taken care of right away by Anna, the administrator, since then just a few hiccups here and there but was acted upon quickly and my mom loves alot of the aids, and so do I,. The aids work hard, and the house keepers are so friendly, and the nurse do help me when I have a question So all in all being short staff, at times everyone does try to do their best,
Best employers in the valley. Even the administrator is out and about taking care of resident needs. The new DON makes rounds taking care of residents which in my 31 years of Nursing is unheard of. Best team ever!!
I just want to start by saying thank you to all the staff at Windsor House. I know the aides are a little overwhelmed but I would like them to show just a little more compassion towards some residents . All but two aides have been FANTASTIC As for the housekeeping Maria is the best she is always there to help me when I need her she is even sure to come check on me every day . I've been feeling down and she always find a way to make laugh. And she does an amazing job keeping my room clean she leaves my room spotless and smiling fresh she even opens my shades so can look outside thank you Maria .
This place is not what they make themselves out to be. The extremely overweight social worker need to stay in her place. She thinks she is a nurse and not. After working out things with the administrator and DON she over road them and made a mountain out of a mole hill.... the staff is rude and not helpful at all. I wouldn't put my dead dog here.
Maria Rivera from housekeeping is excellent! She is so nice to my mother. She keeps her room clean, and gone so far as to bring her flowers. Maria has even come to PT to encourage mom. Additionally, the PT staff is doing a great job. Mom was scared of the workouts at first, but the encouragement from the staff had her power through. Thanks guys.
I want to tell you how very fortunate I feel that I discovered your marvelous care facility . It is the perfect place to work., Not only because of the beautiful facility design which reflects much forethought of resident needs. But especially because of the care that is given to all the residents .and the cheerful, loving staff, . Your aides work very hard to prepare good meals, and help residents with every day needs as part of the housekeeping team we take pride in keeping the facility and the bedrooms clean and tidy. The Windsor staff does an amazing job providing the medication, and special meal needs and beverages. And keep residents clean, groomed and comfortable, and make them feel content and valued. This means so much to me, and especially to the residents families whom we all strive to do our best for .
Edit to call out facility: your HIPPA codes didn’t matter when the aide was on her phone ON SPEAKER in a patient room, while providing patient care. Don’t give me “HIPPA”. The conversations were NOT positive and we have to force someone to call an ambulance. Then your staff called a PRIVATE company instead of 911, costing us time and the patient’s wellness. Your facility is trash and I will let everyone know just how bad it is. I’d be thrilled to call and speak with you. You offer a lot of “sorry’s” when you need to be offering ACTUAL patient care. I would give this facility zero stars if possible. If you base your decisions on reviews, please read this and know that your loved one will not receive proper care whatsoever. I’d like to start by staying that they are extremely understaffed. I understand that given the Pandemic; however, you absolutely cannot compromise patient care. If you cannot care for that many patients, then you shouldn’t be accepting new ones. We sent a loved one for stroke recovery. After a week and a half we had to call an ambulance OURSELVES because nurses wouldn’t. Not to mention that I was there visiting for a week and never saw a nurse. Few aides around also. They let him dehydrate so severely, that he is now in acute renal failure and developed AFIB. He is currently in critical care due to a lack of patient care at this facility. As a stroke recovery patient, he needed monitored. He is nonverbal and can’t use his dominant side. He also had trouble swallowing. They would drop off a tray and leave the room. The last day he was there, they served him a breadstick. The man is supposed to be on a puréed diet. He was sent to the facility for therapy and recovery. Again, I was there and he received ZERO therapy. I have horror stories from just a week. DO NOT SEND ANYONE HERE. They WILL NOT care for them.
