It's a nice open park with sitting arrangements. Kids playground in one corner. It has a few trees which can save you on a sunny day. The kids playground although seems small and old is sure to add some fun to your kids. We went there on a sunny day, took some pictures and played, overall it was peaceful and fun. Playground: The ground is covered in grass and it has a track field attached to it. So you can play all sorts of games. Picnic area: It has benches and the gazebo was under construction, so you can have a picnic, just bring some food.
I actually was at the Rec Center right in front of Liberty Park but my boys, John and Scott, now 27 and 21, grew up there, my niece used to go there with them. l and now I have a 4 year old nephew, Jack, and he also loves Liberty Park! They have this old tank on the gravel in the park, the kids love it. I have great memories of my boys and my niece Kayla playing there, with pics of my youngest, Scott, always keeping an eye on her. Not to be depressing, but this place has a special place in my heart thinking about it, as m my niece, when she was 8, passed away. Not at the park or anything to do with it. But think of her especially when driving by. We live close. Wish I could find the pics I was looking for. Here is Jack at 2 enjoying Liberty Park! Playground: The slides, tubes, swings, Tank all make for a fun day! Dog-friendliness: I have brought my dogs there. They're is a huge field before you get to track and where Vines H.S. is. I believe there is a leash law! Picnic area: There are picnic tables at the picnic area, water fountain, doggy water fountain. We've had many a celebration; birthday parties, school activities there.
Love the tank that my kid and I can play on at the playground. My son goes here after school and the staff is always very kind when he doesn't like to answer his phone when I am calling him.
A nice park near the recreation center. Has it's own tank. And yes, kids can play on the tank. Just take care.
Fun playground for kids! The tank is small so they can climb on it and have fun. Wishing that the broken slide will get fixed soon.
Great area to walk and ride a bike or skate, as well as a playground and shade trees. Playground: Good playground with two set ups for different aged children. Picnic area: Covered picnic area - fairly large.
Beautiful park in between schools and a clean playground for the kiddos. There isn't a restroom on-site so I'd plan to go before you arrive.
A very well done set-up and had a very mesmerizing experience. A must visit during the Christmas!
This really is a lovely park with nice wide open spaces for a variety of activities. The tank is a unique experience that really excites the children. It would be nice if there were a few more options on the playground. Additionally, the water fountains are either inoperable or still closed down as a relic of the covid panic. I hope they restore their functionality soon.
It's a small park, we'll maintained, have a nice playground for kids.
