The Town of North Liberty, IN is located 17 miles southwest of South Bend at the crossroads of IN-4 and IN-23 in southwest St. Joseph County. Established in 1915, this all-volunteer department includes 22 members who respond to an average of 130 runs each year. LTVFD provides Fire, Rescue and Medical First-Responder protection to 2000 residents and 56 square miles including the Town of North Liberty and all of Liberty Township.
Mission of the department is to protect life, property, and the environment by providing well-trained, disciplined, and an efficient fire department to serve the needs of the community.
