The Library Foundation of Needham is a fundraising organization which provides support for programs, services and materials beyond the town budget.
The Library Foundation of Needham, established by the Needham Free Public Library Board of Trustees, is building a permanent fund to support enhancements impossible without an unreasonable burden on the tax rate. The LFN makes resources available beyond the townfunded budget for building enhancements, technology, equipment, library materials, services, and
programs for all ages and interests.
Encourage community investment through individual and corporate giving for Library programs and services not provided for in the town-funded budget.
Coordinate fundraising and promotional activities to increase the endowment and responsibly manage and grow the funds.
