The main branch is depressing. There is not enough light especially in the children's section. It is dark and dreary, not at all what you would expect from a library. I had to use my phone's flashlight to browse the shelves. The entire library is not very welcoming.
A beautiful library located downtown historic Brooksville, and our favorite location to hold our Annual Spelling Bee for Home Circle of Hernando, our homeschooling Co-op. What makes this Library so unique are the multiple tennis courts and playground adjacent to the building.
I thought this public library would be nicer because it’s around a lot of government buildings but no. There are bums in front of the library, chain smoking, which personally I think should not be allowed. I don’t appreciate my children having to pass that poison to get into the library. The outside of the library reeks of urine. The staff is great but the whole vibe of the library and smells I just can’t take. When I went to check out a book for my son, it smelled like old cheese. I just will not be returning to this location.
It was a lovely library just downtown in Brooksville. I had a bit of a printing emergency, of course late in the evening, but I was in and out, without even a library card, with the help of the wonderful staff. I'll be back to sign up ladies, thank you!
The librarians are amazing not always the same ones but always very helpful and have become very friendly with me and my family and we only go about twice a month.
I just went inside for a conversation meeting with one other person and it's pretty nice in there I like it I'll give it a four-star
Nicely set up. Lots of books, computers DVD'S. Great staff. Helpful and friendly. Lots if events too. Getting a library card is also quick and easy.
Best books movies and Internet access. The staff always friendly and a face to face resource I can trust and count on. Thank you for being open in this ever changing Beautiful world we all call home!!!
Everyone is usually very nice but the two young lady who were working today we're very rude and in helpful . I ask for an extension on my computer time because I was filling out time sensitive paperwork and they told me to wait . Then I watched as they help extension others computer time and be rude to a old lady because see was taking to long.
Very nice place to go can't say thanks enough for the library staff that works there very helpful very considerate very kind very good at information we're forwarding just one good round of Great helpfull staff
