Proud owners Don and Shawna Rivera would love to welcome you to Lido's warm atmosphere and fantastic home cooking!

Shawna started her career as a cosmetologist. After fifteen years, she decided she wanted to follow her passion for cooking and went to culinary school at Leader Wolf Culinary. After graduation, Shawna opened Lido, a café and hair-salon. It's been great having her family, including her husband and co-owner Don, together working as a team on what it is she loves to do! The café has become "the Best Kept Secret in Carmichael" because to this day someone will always say, "I never knew you were here and I've lived here for so many years!"

Shawna's dream for Lido's came form her mother's gift of cooking and how it 'brings you home'.

I've eaten at Lido's a few times and have found the food and service to be consistently good. I've had both breakfast and lunch. Breakfast always comes with good portion sizes and I particularly like their bacon thick-cut and crispy!. The place is typically busy but we've never had to wait very long. I recommend!
Let's not kid ourselves. The wait is very long. Anyone that says otherwise is lying. Now, being as busy as they are . The do serve the food within a decent wait time. Half of the staff needs to smile more. Not so The food is hot and nothing is over seasoned. The price is comparable to everywhere else. Good quality. I wish the had real fruit juice . They don't fill the plate with a bunch of carbs which is nice . Everything comes in at the same time we ordered 4 plates. I had the country fried steak, and eggs Benedict. My son had chicken and waffles which was chicken breast. He said it was great. His mom had eggs Benedict Florentine. They couldn't finish it cause they're light weights. Lol I do appreciate they cooked the asparagus garnish well too. They can get away with it and no one will know. But I tried it and it was cooked perfect.
We visited for the first time and the food was delicious. The portions were perfect for us. We order Chorizo burrito and coffe. The server was very nice! Parking: Available parking.
The place was packed when we walked in! Even so, we were immediately greeted by multiple employees. Our server got us water right away. The white mocha was amazing. So flavorful and not too sweet. Their homemade whip cream is so thick, creamy, and to die for! The food came out super quick, especially with how full the restaurant was. Even with so many guests it is not overcrowded at all. They have an outside patio and little menu for doggies, too!!! Highly recommend to anyone. The menu is huge and can satisfy almost anybody. Full bar and drinks too! The servers are super friendly and attentive as well!
Updated review, July 29, 2022: Lido's is still busy with an upscale, local crowd. Some perks I didn't mention in my previous review...Lido's is dog friendly on their outdoor patio! And, they have a full bar for mimosas, bloody Mary's, and any adult drink you desire. Fresh baked cinnamon rolls are available on Saturday and Sunday. Other pastries are available daily. Lido Cafe and Bakery has been in the neighborhood a long time! Shawna has moved into a bigger space with sole focus on the restaurant. The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch, and offers a dinner menu Wednesday thru Sunday. Check the website for specifics. My family enjoyed Easter brunch at Lido and we were quite happy with our meal. We ordered Strawberry French Toast, Country Fried Steak and a Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich. Everything was very tasty! The service staff looked great and was very attentive! Our server, Gustavo, was GREAT! There is a bakery display of beautiful pastries that greets you as you arrive. You'll be full when you leave, so order them to take home!
Lido Cafe is a fantastic local Cafe with the absolute best breakfast in Carmichael! They have their own pastry chef who makes the best pastries and desserts! My go-to favorite!
By far the best cafe in town! The food is so delicious, and you can tell it’s made with fresh ingredients and not a lot of grease. It’s like Black Bear Diner, but better in every way. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Prices are low and the portion size is just right. Cannot recommend this place more, it’s perfect.
Love this place! Come here all the time. Great food, and really good service. Highly recommend! Dogs welcome on the patio as well.
We had a great experience at Lido! The food was very good and they had excellent, friendly service. The prices are very reasonable as well. Lido's had very homey touches that made for a very welcoming experience. One detail I enjoyed is that they don't have standard mugs you would see at many other diners. They had an assortment of mugs like you would collect at your own home. 5 stars!
1st time here on September 1, 2022. Good Food and great service. The locals pack this restaurant too. I was recommended Leddos by my friends @ Baudendistel Physical Therapy and boy was Art and Cindy correct.
