Joe was great! Bathroom close by loved the waterline minus the mint syrup.
Used to be great because last call was at sunset and there was live music. Now I have to rush out of work to get here by 5:15 to get a drink since they close 1/2 hr before sunset what!?!?And no live music anymore. Will give it 5 stars if you bring back both. And by the way I am watching tons of people being turned away right now, it’s so sad. What an opportunity to have a fun place and bring in tons of money. Opportunity wasted. On the other hand, good people here, both customers and staff.
This “resort” is not up to the Opal resort standards. Very poor service - I understand the staffing shortage issue now — but when you have 2 bartenders and 2 servers and it’s 60 degrees and windy and no one else is here— I would think that 1 of the 4 would check in. I was here several times to Covid— most recently 3 years ago. Then u could find much better rooms for the $. It’s changed in the last 3 years but the room costs have gone up $150+ & just for a repainting Every morning there is a roach near the sink. I believe that when visiting this so called resort you have to be pro-active even if you are dining at a table at the poolside restaurant— you are on your on!. Theor renovation was all superficial fluff— not really worth the new pricing when compared with hotels that may be $100 more a night.
Staff wear masks and people are not close together. The tiki bar is open to the public. This bar is part of the Ritz Carlton so expect those kind of prices, but they are not crazy. The staff is very friendly and the drinks are good. Great location to sit for a bit.
This tiki bar is right on Lido Beach at the Ritz Carlton. It has great drinks. Especially tropical drinks. The food is average bar food and is not cheap. I had an all beef hot dog which was not warm since the food has to be delivered from the nearby kitchen. The breeze underneath the tiki hut is a welcome respite from the 90 degree temperature. Nice view of the Gulf.
Good location and nice sunsets from there. The drinks were good as they should be for the price. No parking other than street. Enter from the beach or the public access point if you are not a resident.
Great frozen drinks. Get the Vice!! Also the chicken Caesar wrap was possibly the best wrap I’ve ever had. Seriously. At a tiki bar. Who knew?
I would give this zero stars if I could.... charges $26 for a double that isn't really a double.... chips and salsa were $20... service was sub par. honestly think that they charge absurd prices because they are outside of the ritz carlton. will never go back, not sure why it's hyped and has good reviews.
Amazing bar, beautiful views, delicious fish tacos and chicken quesadilla and cocktails are the best!!
One of the best sunset spots in Sarasota and it's open to the public. Grab a drink and relax. For locals... Park on the street and walk to the beach. There's a paved path on the south side of the Ritz. You can reach the tiki bar via the path
