Our primary intention at Life Is A Gift Shop is to shop the world for the best crystals excavated and sold by Fair Trade sources. These crystals are natural and untreated unless stated otherwise, which is infrequent. Along with crystals, we look for jewelry with various healing crystals and minerals. The reasoning is to make crystals accessible in many ways, on display for the room's energy and so that you'll handle it, on your physical being, in a room spray, and as elixirs to take internally.
Our secondary intention is to offer artsy, humorous and spiritual gifts.
Some of the gifts may seem obscure or random and maybe they are, but many times it is because we love the artist or the artisans behind the items, such as a group of women who sew tunics in India who have been shunned by their communities because they are divorced or widowed.
And our third intention is a selection of funny, mythical or whimsical cards and art prints.
Our mark-up is halfway between wholesale and retail due to our low overhead.
