Google should really provide an option to offer 0 stars. I never take out the time to offer Google Reviews, but it was a must to make a post about the behavior of management at Life Storage in Carrollton 2300 Old Denton Rd. The unprofessionalism, unwillingness to research and resolve simple task, accusations, judgement and overall lack of courtesy experienced by manager Danielle Swyden is absolutely inexcusable. As a manager myself, volunteer, and person highly active in the community, the service I received, as well as denied of, is nothing I'd want as a company to be affiliated with or have as a representation of my company culture. As a manager, it takes a certain type of energy, transparency and willingness to lead everyone, not just those you pick and choose to. Depending on your perspective and the treatment I experienced, some might call that discrimination. This review is strictly for transparency, so it is notated that the manager they have at this facility is not a good representation of the company and unless its notated and customers make it known, HR and The Management Team would never know the way customers are treated.
Jeremiah Turner was very professional and courteous. He was great with explaining my available options and promotions. I received 5 star service at this facility.
They pull you in with a bonus of a truck and when you tell them you need to get your stuff out because you can no longer afford the space they tell you they sold it. Their promise of. 30 dollar sign on fee turns out to be over 60 bucks. They are not true to their word. I will never choose them again.
Always very helpful - I'd recommend Life Storage for all your storage needs.
If I could give no stars I would. Danielle was horrible very unprofessional. She yelled and screamed at my mother and myself. She closed early. She slammed doors and threw things. I didn’t raise my voice not once. I explained what happened and she didn’t even care even after another store called ahead to tell her we were heading in to pick up the moving van. While I’ve paid for this first month this company won’t receive another dime from me.
Such a wonderful storage facility! These guys work with you; they've worked with me. Danielle, Roy, and Samantha are all awesome professionals. The facility is clean, the rates are great. I have been here for three months and will probably remain here for another three years. I have a lot of experience as a renter of storage units, and this place is a gem of a find.
Love this place, I feel that my stuff is secure, that the price is right and the employees are very helpful. I plan on being here for a long time.
The manager was nice at first but after I returned the vehicle overnight the manager assumed I caused damage to the rental truck . Instead of being apologetic and understanding she stated well the damage wasnt there when we rented it to you, so u must be responsible . I told the manager several times that I didnt cause any problems and th err re has to be a mistake. The manager was very defiant and just could not believe I did not cause the damage . I told the manager she needs to review the footage of the cameras because this is Ludacris. She then called and told me that a motorcycle ran into the truck and side swipped it, she did apologize but the point of anger that she took me to with her condescending demeanor was enough for me to never do buisness again. Also the storage unit had holes I'm the roof and could possibly have water damage In the unit. I will never ever return and if u do , TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING AND EVEN RECORD THE CONVERSATION. you can never be to safe.
I visited life storage supplement with Roy who assisted me. Roy was great he answered all my questions and assisted me every step of the way. We hit a small snag and he didn't push me away he was able to call someone to help and went above his job. I highly recommend this storage!!
O.M.G. Olivia is it! She was the best. Met all my concerns and took all my stress away. I was dreading this move and it’s like god decided to do me a solid this one time. Excellent people Excellent service. Will definitely be a long time customer.
