I reserved online and was able to get access to the unit the same day. I met with associate manager Becky at the front desk and she was so welcoming. She greeted with smiles and honestly was the best customer service I've had in a while!!! She walked me through the unit floor and showed me the unit which I very much appreciated before signing the lease agreement, etc. She even went as far as showing me how to get to the unit using the right elevator or door access spot. The unit was the perfect size I was looking for. The only complaint I have is not having access to carts after 5pm. I had no choice but to haul my things in multiple trips. If there was access to carts after 5pm to closing I'd give it a 5 star. Other than that, I'm satisfied .
Great service today from employee “Peter”, I hope I got that right. This location isn’t that old. It was newly built a few years ago. Facility is very clean and bright. No scary dark murder hallways in this storage facility. We we arrived to get the unit and within 15 mins we were out the door. First month is free! You can access your storage unit until 10pm which is perfect for my schedule. Great experience. Highly recommend.
peter was great, very kind and accommodating. life storage needs to increase their pay for their employees though. peter was the only one working leaving many customers including myself waiting for him for help. he shouldn’t be the only one in charge of such a large operation, especially at noon on a thursday. and according to a flyer on their door, because of a labor shortage aka life storage isn’t willing to compensate their employees fairly customers have to deal with the office being closed multiple days throughout the week.
Services are fine, people are nice, when there is someone there! But good luck if you try to cancel your rental space. Life Storage does not make it easy. I'm still trying to get a hold of anybody that can help.
My account was a hot mess & I really had no idea where to begin in hopes of gaining some understanding & finding a resolution that would satisfy myself & Life storage. I'm not a rookie in the storage business I have been @ this location going on 12 yrs. My issue was personal & difficult but the moment I walked in I was greeted by the manager Peter who listened, explained & then patiently gave me options. Even after my decision was made Peter went above & beyond making contact with corporate on my behalf. In just minutes I received Peter's call explaining he was able to help me out even more AND I would remain in good standing which was critical to me. I was treated as a person, not a statistic or number. He took all the time I needed to grasp what decision would be best for me. Thankyou Peter for being professional, courteous & compassionate. Many know that we have a shortage of all these characteristics in our world today but you'll find it @ Life Storage, Just ask for Peter! He certainly restored my faith in our world Thankyou Peter
RENTER BEWARE!!!! After being a renter at this facility for 3 years, through numerous rent increases although paying before due date, vagrants trashing the place, and units being broken into as well as numerous management/employee changes I gave notice of my move out. I was told that I didn't need to do anything by an employee from another location covering, to later find out after i moved out, on my move out day I was supposed to sign something by the so called on site manager. I get a BILL instead of a prorated refund.. I contacted the "on-site manager" whom by the way is almost non existent on his lunch even though he just arrived to work, to now be at a month of no refund and no one contacting me. Yet I was assured I would be contacted as well as receive. A refund. Not going to hold my breath! If you don't mind trashy building and trashy service , then by all means have a blast.
Great service! Clean building, Management made sure I had everything I needed and was very helpful! Would definitely recommend for first time storage unit buyers!
First time being, the employee was able to help me through the process quickly. However, on our way to our storage for the first time of course leading be the employee, we encountered a back couple… living in the area. Urine, clothes, and their other stuff were all over the floor. The employee couldn’t do much. When the employee left, that couple were arguing and yelling at each other. The lady threatened the guy that she would call the police. The fat guy walked around the area half naked and yelled at her. When he walked by us still half naked, he got attention by my father and he yelled at him not staring at him. I wonder how he knew if he didn’t look at my father. This is scary as hell. My first impression here was not so good. The owner/management team should be strict about what renters can do in here. Update on 8/15/22: their regional specialist reached out to me to get feedback about the occurrence. They let me know that the problem had been resolved. I used to have someone accompanied every time I need to get in the unit just in case. Now I feel like I can comfortably get there by myself. Thanks the management team for getting the resolution quickly.
Becky helped me out the day I moved in and she was extremely helpful and friendly. So glad she got me in and out of there quick and made everything fairly easy!
After being turned away down the street a quarter to 6pm, I called this location in a frantic and asked that if I got there before 6pm if I could still rent a spot that I had reserved, they told me no, said they are allowed to close 7 minutes early and that if you want to rent a unit, you have to show up by 5pm. They are open until 6? Or at least they are supposed to be, if they're going to turn away paying customers after 5pm, they should make that known when you reserve your space. I spent close to 4 hrs driving there/back for nothing, not to mention gas prices right now in addition to the waste of time. I had to call 3 times to even get someone to pick up the phone and when the lady finally answered, she sounded so rude and annoyed that I was calling. I was desperate for a unit after the experience I had just encountered at their other property and she could care less, literally told me sorry about my luck. Life Storage seems to have a trend when it comes to hiring employees, and being lazy, rude & unproductive are on top! Such a disappointment! Don't fall for the free month or cheap units, there's a reason they are cheap, their service is the worst and would never trust leaving my stuff there after witnessing the characters running the place!
