We love lifetime fitness. There are many available workout classes and kid programs. The day care available is so convenient. They keep the restrooms clean. However the toilets could be updated and it would be nice to see the daycare sanitized on a regular basis. There are so many kiddos that go through there.
We just joined life time a few weeks ago and have to say that the gym is the cleanest and truly a full service establishment. They have a full service salon located inside a café, where you can get dozens of grateful deductions to help you stay on track with your health goals. lifetime merch you can buy also Their facility is equipped with a Rockwall, sauna steam room, heated pools or pools, family rooms, daycare while you work out and several different classes to choose from on a daily basis. Plus you never have to guess your workouts again because their app helps you on your fitness journey. So I would say that anyone who’s interested in joining it is truly the best bang for your buck.
BASKETBALL IS NOT AN OPTION for most of the day. The basketball court is mainly used for other activities and is closed for most of the time. If you’re looking to play basketball or wanting to be surrounded by adults go somewhere else. The gym has become far more of a DAYCARE rather than a “HIGH END” gym.
Please do not fall for the fake reviews. This gym has no regards for you unless you are the right member. The basketball court is almost always unavailable because they have kids camps closing the courts and also ruining the courts shape. If you want to play basketball do not come here. This is more of a daycare center with weight lifting.
I was a Lifetime member for nearly 7 years. Service and cleanliness pre-covid were a 5. Used to be worth the price, but in the last couple of years the weight room has become dirtier and dirtier, equipment constantly out of order, and frequent price hikes. My husband and I reached out to management on multiple occasions through surveys and employees, but they didn't care. When management found out we were leaving Lifetime because of lack of cleanliness and price hikes, he told a trainer "They'll be back after they see every gym is like this." Management - we WILL NOT be back and we are actively persuading others to leave. Our new gym is always clean and I haven't seen an "out of order" machine yet. Plus, as a bonus, my husband and I are saving $1k/year by switching.
if i could post this without a star, i would. the management here absolutely sucks and i can’t believe how badly they treat their co workers knowing they barely have workers. do not work here or get a membership here. they are not worth your time and money. they have no compassion for people who actually want to work and no sympathy for the workers at all.
I love Lifetime. The atmosphere is great despite the construction for updates. However the increase in single member pricing to $129 is astronomical for a dad of 9 children trying to stay healthy. Maybe I'm making the wrong choice for place of fitness though.
Great equipment and the staff is nice. Sadly, vehicles have been robbed in the parking lot. Management says they will not hire private security to patrol the lot at night. We all pay a significant membership fee per month and I believe they should hire security. If you agree call and voice your concern, this gym can afford security!
I experienced a different level of workout. I love the ambiance… too far from where I live to be a constant member .. but it’s worth it
I had a membership with Lifetime for a little over two years. The staff was good, I came in ready for a intense workout every morning with not issues. They have a pool which is nice indoor & outdoor and good workout equipment. It is a little pricey, the price is good if you are going to use the pool, basketball court, steam room, yoga room, racket ball ,climbing on a weekly basis. It may not fit the bill if you are only going to use the gym. For me I stopped going here because I was only using the gym and it didn’t make since paying $100+ for a membership. Again , this is a solid gym with a lot of good people who go here, staff is there doing their jobs, I had no complaints. I would recommend this gym for beginners and seasoned workout vets. Beginners will feel comfortable because there are many different things to do. You don’t ever have to deal with intimidation from others working out, I have been in many gyms and we all know it happens. Morning time 5am-10am is not too packed, there are plenty of open machines, hot tubs aren’t full. Afternoon 1:00-3:00 it’s kind of slow, and evening 4-10 it can get a little busier with everyone getting off work and school, there may not be many machines open, hot tub, pool, basketball court full too. Weekend, basketball court and racket ball are full in the mornings.
