I was recently here after my hip replacement. The nurses and staff for my rehab were great. I want to especially want to thank Bob in the rehab department. He worked with me and did wonders. The only complaint I have is with the 3-11 cna. I needed help in getting into bed. I would ask 2 different ones and instead of being gentle they would just whip my legs into bed. I only seen them usually Monday to Friday it was two female they need to be retrained. All the other cna and staff members were great. If I ever need to get rehab I would definitely go back there
Our mother was recently very sick and required further assistance once she left the hospital. We decided to send her to Life Care in Attleboro, MA. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. She made an excellent recovery with all the support she received. I would highly recommend Life Care of Attleboro!
Having recently needed the care of a rehab center, I chose Attleboro life care Center and highly recommend it. The therapists in OT and PT are kind, encouraging, and worked one on one with me with great patience. They have helped me on my way to recovery. The facility is very clean and the staff is so friendly and caring. Each employee, regardless of their job, has been kind, polite, and friendly; the nursing staff is very professional. The menu selection is varied and the meals are good. After 3 1/2 weeks here, I am glad that I chose Attleboro life care. Marie Riley, N. Attleboro
My Mom recently had a stay here. We were very pleased with the care she received . The Dr. , nurses , rehab & admin staff were all great! We recently had an awful experience at another facility so I was very nervous sending my mom to another rehab. But she got excellent therapy here & care! The Dr even made rounds every morning , that never happened at the last place! I was really impressed! Thank you again for taking good care of my Mom !
I am a disabled Pediatric Nurse who recently fell and broke my right hip. I also developed a wound on my left heel so after hip surgery the hospital wanted me to go into rehab. I was NOT happy and VERY concerned because I have been in a few. DIRTY places with HORRIBLE staff!! Life Care Center of Attleboro, is INCREDIBLY clean, unbelievable CNA;s Nurses who are smart, on top of things, Physical and Occupational Therapist and Assistants who really know their stuff! If you have to go into extended care, this is the place to come or to send your loved ones. I am going to hate when its time to go home LOL, I just read down at other reviews, some of these people must have been in another world! I have NOT met a single staff member who wasn't caring, kind and SMART! And believe me I am a HARD judge of these places! Again if my mom were still alive I would send her here. I am still rather young, 64, and these folks are working to get me back home! I was Wicked afraid of using the stairs but they worked with me and I am back using the stairs like a pro! Pay NO attention to these angry people cause it just ain't true!
Not only have I had one member of my family go to Life Care Center of Attleboro for Rehab but I have had 3 members of my family go there to get the Rehab needed to continue on with their every day life style. They have all had nothing but good things to say about the treatment and support they received to get back to their every day living. If you pick this facility to get your Rehab done you will not be disappointed.
This life transition can be so hard. There's a small army here of knowledgeable caring folks to help you through it! Clean, bright, cheerful and plenty to do! Rehab was a terrific experience giving the difficult situation my Mom is in. She'll be doing long term care here as well. The staff from the receptionist to the maintenance folks and everyone in between have been beyond amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND..and I'M A COMPLAINER! :
My father spent 55 days in rehab due to a brain injury he sustained after a fall. They were anticipating him to be long term care and as such had stopped all PT/OT 2 weeks before we decided to bring him home. They said he had slight pneumonia when he left and sent him home on a high dose of antibiotics which made him sick. Within days of being home his health was deteriorating. We brought him to the hospital Charlton where we were told he had fluid in both lungs and around his heart due to congestive heart failure and not pneumonia. The facility stopped giving him lasik or only gave it as needed, which he was on to prevent fluid build up for his congestive heart failure which was diagnosed earlier this year. If we had not taken him home and brought him to the hospital this situation could of been deadly. In the 55 days there my father also lost 15lbs, although they assured me he was eating 75-90% of his meals. They had no explanation for this. They kept me in the dark and never communicated with me. He sat in a wheelchair day in and day out. Since he was no longer doing pt and just sitting in a chair all day no one would know that fluid was causing labored breathing and distress on his heart. I would do his laundry which always came home smelling terrible of urine and sometimes even so wet the bag would have wet urine on it. Our system is broken and this facility truly doesn't seem to care about the wellbeing of its patients. It may look nice and clean but beware, heathcare of your loved ones is not top priority.
The PCA''s are the only qualified staff who work there as well as the custodians. Life Care of Attleboro is understaffed and the nurses are under-qualified and take their frustrations on the vulnerable patients who are victims and powerless. My husband was a patient for a couple of hours And an LPN who was the supervisor was belligerent to him and turned on the lights and woke him out of a sound sleep in the middle of the night to sign papers when he could have signed in the early evening or before he went to bed. but she wanted to exercise her power and show him who was boss because I wasn't there . He had hip surgery and suffered a heart attack two days following his hip surgery and therefore needed his rest .This LPN who was not a registered nurse was up speaking to my husband who was old enough to be her father or even her grandfather and she had no right to be disrespectful and sending him back to the hospital and then calling me and taunting me and not telling me where he was . Bad choice in hiring staff.
I was in Life are for rehab and was treated very good. Food was good also.My only complaint is I wish they had water pitchers by the bedside.
