Came at dinner time of 2, extremely short on staff, been told to wait and waited for 40 minutes, nobody showed up. Most importantly, no one else was served at the time. My second time to experiencing this treatment already, the food was pretty good though, never dining in again that’s for sure. Maybe takeouts in the future...
Service is good. Food is ok. But if we consider it as decent Chinese food, there are lots of better options. Also, this place charges each bowl of rice. It is unfair for whoever eats a lot for each meal. I have known couple nice Chinese restaurant where serves bowls of rice without charge. Strongly not recommend it to others who would like to try delicious Chinese food.
Ordered through Uber eats. Fried rice is the bomb, great flavor and lots of protein. Crab Rangoon is as good as anywhere.
I have been looking for good Chinese food in Columbus ever since Geem Loong in Grandview changed hands years ago. Looks like I found it! I came in when it wasn't busy. Service was very fast. I ordered kung pao chicken. The chicken was flavorful, tender and I could tell it was "velveted". The sauce was outstanding and tasted like it was made from scratch and not some corn syrupy slop like other Chinese takeout places use. Portion was very generous and I could barely finish it and I'm a big fat guy. I plan on going back tomorrow while I'm still in town.
Generally, the food was pretty good! I had the General Tsos chicken and rice, and my friends ordered a variety of food. Took a while for water to get out, but the food came out quick. They also had great staff!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
Despite the fact that reviews were all over the map for this place, it was convenient to the grocery store and we decided to try it. The food was okay; not great, with arge portions. The service was pleasant, but lousy. I ordered an Egg Roll as an appetizer, and my wife ordered the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. I also ordered General Tso's Chicken and she ordered Green Bean Chicken. After a fairly long wait I figured that the apps would come out with the entrees, but I was mistaken. My Egg Roll came out, then two minutes later my entree came out. After about five minutes, my wife's appetizer came out. Five + minutes later her entree came out. The Egg Roll was served without hot mustard which is my primary reason for ordering Egg Rolls, and when I requested some, I was given a carry-out package of gelatinous, semi-sweet, yellowish goo. Fail. The Lettuce Wrap came with several large lettuce leaves, and a LARGE portion of nice, flavorful filling. It was a very sharable portion. The Green Bean Chicken was loaded with both beans and chicken. Very generous. The chicken seemed to be cooked in the same sauce as the Lettuce Wrap, without the added veggies. Tasty, but not a bit of difference from the appetizer. The General Tso's Chicken was fine... just fine... Not very crisp and not at all spicy. Both entrees came with a generous portion of Fried Rice. Conclusion: I wouldn't refuse to go back, but it will not be a destination. Three stars was generous. 2.5 would have been more accurate.
We did a carry out tonight and I ordered one of my favorite dishes. Unfortunately, my sesame chicken was extremely vinegary instead of sweet. I wonder what happened. Also, the two people who waited on my husband were not very fluent in English. They did try very hard and did get our order correct. If the restaurant is trying a new sauce, I would definitely vote against this vinegary flavor and ask that they go back to the sweet sauce.
Had 2 great experiences. Great food, wonderful servers, awesome decor. Food was always made fresh and delivered timely. I read reviews complaining about a 15 minute wait. I would gladly wait 20 minutes for the quality and price of food I received both visits. Will be returning, and will recommend.
My wife and I really enjoyed our experience here. One of the best Asian dishes that I have ever had. My wife got the Sesame Chicken. I wanted to try something new, so I got the Malaysian Laksa Noodle Chicken. We loved the Malaysian dish! We will definitely be coming back for more. Thanks.
If you are looking for an authentic sushi house this may be the place for you. Not very fancy but the service was good and the food came quickly and was very good. I had three different rolls and there was plenty to eat and it was fresh and presented nicely. My wife had vegetable Pad Tai which was also very good and presented with an array of vegetables cooked in different ways in different sauces. This is a family business so they take pride in what they serve and how they treat customers.
