Lil' Jenny's Ice Cream

Such a cool historic location! And great ice cream too. And a story to display the kindness of the staff. I ordered a double scoop cone. While sitting enjoying my frozen treat I guess I got too excited and broke the cone in two, just barely catching the scoops in my hand. Unsure what to do I walked back up the counter with melting dairy in hand. The staff helped me clean myself and replaced my ice cream in a cup this time free of charge. Also the ice cream is delicious so definitely stop and visit.

One of the best ice cream places we have visited so far ! I love their orange chocolate, it’s smooth and yummy! The cinnamon nutmeg is also worth trying. It has a mild flavor.

High quality hand made ice cream in a variety of interesting flavors. They have a lot of toppings too. The dark chocolate fudge ice cream is fantastic. The cherry Starr to was just ok. Haven’t tried the candy yet.

We ended up stumbling on this place entirely by chance, while wandering around and simply googling "best ice cream near me". Now, I'm typically not one to trust google despite relying so heavily on it, but am sure glad I did on this occasion, because we ended up having some of the very best ice cream we've ever had, anywhere including our hometown, Toronto, but also in other major North American metropolitan cities, as well as in the EU. The owners are some of the warmest folks we've met, and are mad geniuses with the flavours they concoct inside this beautiful 200+ year old marvel of a building. We ended up having about 5-6 different flavours, each one better than the last or, more realistically, of an equally superlative calibre, merely just different. I love how they incorporate the ingredients so thoroughly, making the flavours taste like what they're supposed to taste like- not just in some lazy topical way which many other places do. The quality is objectively extremely high, and I cannot wait to visit again, so as to acquaint myself with other flavours. And as incredible as the their sweets and ice cream are, what really stole my whole heart was checking out the incredible comic book/action figure/arcade game collection upstairs, owned by the same evil genius who makes the incredible ice cream. Man, that was a walk down nostalgia lane... Talk of flavours, anyone seeking a big hit of nostalgia ought to make the trek to this Buffalo gem and hit up the upstairs after basking in the frozen sweet nectar downstairs. So glad to have discovered this spot.

Sweet Jenny's is a wonderful place to stop for a sundae, dish of ice cream or cone. They have a great variety of choices, roughly 30 or more different flavors to choose from. My wife enjoys the turtle sundae while I like the salted caramel truffle ice cream. Their prices are reasonable and the folks who work there are courteous and friendly. Anyone wanting to take their loved one for an evening dessert here is making a wise choice. Oh yes, the atmosphere where you sit outside is great as well.

Absolutely love Sweet Jennys! The best handmade ice cream around. Love the variety and options they offer so you can try different flavors or stick to your favorite. Very busy during the evenings, but the service is fast and efficient. Many other items besides ice cream can be purchased also. The quaint area is nice to walk around, take a stroll to the nearby park or to relax at one of the tables. Either way it is time well spent with the enjoyment of splendid ice cream!

My boyfriend and I went here tonight after dinner to celebrate a special occasion. Because it was our first time here, we wanted to take a look inside. After looking at the items they had for sale we wanted to place our orders for ice cream so we went to the counter. We were very rudely informed that we could not “cut the line” and had to order outside. How were we suppose to know that? Such a joke. We were honestly tempted to just leave empty handed but I have been wanting to try this place for years. So we got our ice cream and halfway through finishing his cone, my boyfriend found a black hair in his ice cream. You guessed it, neither of us have black hair. Absolutely disgusting. I couldn’t even finish my cone because I was so grossed out. We will NEVER be back. If you like hair in your ice cream, this place is for you but Anderson’s is just as good, minus the hair.

Love Love Love LOVE Sweet Jenny"s!!! If you are looking for a great way to get outside and get a little fresh air, park down at Glen Falls Park and walk up to Sweet Jenny's. If you are anywhere in the area and you like ice cream or chocolate, do yourself a favor and make this MUST STOP location on your list. The ice cream is to die for! I believe they make all of their ice cream in house, store bought just doesn't compare. They have a huge list of rotating flavors... I've tried many and have never once been disappointed. I can guarantee you won't be either. If you don't like scooped ice cream, they also have delicious milkshakes which can be made from any flavor on the menu!! The chocolate shop inside is super cute and has large mouth watering display cases. They have a huge selection of chocolate confections, French silks, truffles and retro candies. I've given out various boxes of assorted chocolates as gifts and the recipients have RAVED about how delicious they were. I can't recommend this place enough!!

Picked up a box of truffles here. I was able to pick the exact truffles I wanted and they have all been delicious. Friendly staff. Has a restroom.
