I should have checked that this place has very bad reviews, the people who work at this store has zero, zero respect for people and people's time specially because most of the costumers are busy moms. I always bought everything new for my children I have an 8yo, 2yo boys and 10 month old girl and I always donates their clothes but my 2yo boy wears size 4 and my 10months old is wearing size 2-3T so I thought about trying a resale store, to exchange the many baby clothes that they never wore, this one is 25mins away from my house so I called before. The lady who answered said that they don't do appointments but I could come at anytime, 2pm is always a great time and that she will be happy to see my things for an exchange. I go there, the place is so dark, not a pleasant shopping experience and the same lady says: I have too many baby clothes I told her I was bringing baby clothes and some toys and you have 3 people ahead of you. So rude, 50 minutes of my busy time I have 3 kids and a company in the garbage. So so horrible and rude. Never, never, never coming back to that dark place with rude inconsiderate people.
Big names ,great prices and helpful workers , especially the pretty lady that buys the clothes . She gave me an awesome deal. A must shop spot in the south bay
Absolutely cannot get enough. This place has everything and their prices are better than any thrift store and way better quality. Give them a shot you won't regret it.
Just left this place what a hidden gem. Was there with my mother and we found out every Tuesday is grandparents day and they get 20% off !!! And they have amazing prices to top it off.
Never buying or selling from this place ever again . The worse experience i have ever encountered. I had booked my appointment to sell cloths two weeks prior. I had previously booked the appointment a few months before and the experience was great. This time, the owner absolutely blew it . I arrive with my bag of CLEAN cloths, the first comment the owner makes "is the cloths clean" - I then answered YES. ALL THE CLOTHS IN THIS BAG IS CLEAN. Her follow up question is " do you have anything better than GAP" - I chuckled, answered her " of course; this clean bag of cloths is all Nordstrom cloths " so yes better than GAP. She then says " I've been swamped with so much stuff, I don't have the time to look through the bag nor am I interested in purchasing any infant cloths" . Not to mention, I drove all the way from Long Beach, and no where in the website or appointment reminder said she wasn't interested in purchasing infant cloths . This was such a waste of time . Lastly, she approached my 2 year old daughter asking if she was going to clean up the mess she made which was a few toys she was playing with. Overall, NEVER EVER AGAIN . I will NOT recommend this place to ANYONE . You don't treat your customers like this . Is clear you have a lot of negative reviews and still have not made a change to help retain your business.
This store makes me really excited and wish I had known about it earlier. I absolutely love this concept of buying 2nd hand or consignment baby items. I feel exited to be giving items a second life and having the ability to shop through thousands of really great quality items. I come here way too often, especially whenever there is a sale, and probably will for years to come until my baby outgrows the store. I’ve found that the various young ladies who work at the shop to be helpful too. Thank you!
I’m very disappointed of this place, I feel So discriminated because of my race. Came to this place because they were having white tag sale and the cashier wasn’t even aware of the sale. It’s place all over Instagram white tag sale and it doesn’t say what they exclude. Came to purchase my items and lady was like it excluded new & seasonal and took forever to actually get the information correctly. She was very rude & unprofessional not to mention she was late on opening the place @ 11. Felt to embarrassed today ughh you should hire people who want to work and treat people equally and not by the color of their skin or origin..
Carol the owner wasted our time and energy and was not impressed with the store either. Don’t bother trying to donate or sell to this rude unethical business owner
I have ALWAYS had terrible experiences at this location. During Covid I sold multiple bags of Janie & Jack, Gap, Disney, etc. and only received 40.00 or less for my “new” condition clothing. What makes my experience worse was the fact that the owner publicly yelled at me when I asked for cash instead of an in store trade. I asked the owner what she was taking and refused to show me! She then counted out less than 40.00 and aggressively slapped it in my hand. It was embarrassing and very unprofessional. I even had a few items I was planning to purchase! The only reason I even returned to the store was because every time I tried to sell my items, I was turned away because “they met their cash limit and could only provide trade.” I called the store 3 times beforehand! They also have a “big sale” where you can fill a bag for 10.00,20.00, etc. The bags they provide are tiny and all the clothes in the sales bins are stained and ripped! I’ve shopped at plenty of children’s consignment stores but the owner treats employees & customers poorly. It’s a shame how they take advantage of families like this.
I have been a customer for the past couple of years. I go in when I need to buy the next size up for my son, basically a whole new wardrobe each time. I spend around $200 a visit. For the first time today I brought in items for them to buy. The woman was EXTREMELY rude throughout the exchange. I can understand they have their policies on how they select items to purchase, however one doesn't have to talk down, and belittle a customer. If it wasn't for customers bringing in clothing for them to buy they wouldn't have a business. Too bad for them, because I will NEVER give them my business again.
