Description

Lily’s bistro is a family run independent restaurant in Dayton’s historic Oregon District. We feature seasonal, eclectic American comfort food + drinks with a healthy dash of Southern influence. Our vibe is “nice dining,”which to us means updated interpretations of good food in an unfussy and welcoming atmosphere. Our friendly bartenders focus on creative and fresh craft cocktails alongside a seasonal selection of beer and wine.

We work with many local purveyors to support our fellow small businesses, and feature farm to table and organic food as much as possible. Because we change our menu seasonally, we are able to source a great deal of regional products.

We serve breakfast and lunch items Tuesday-Friday, a classic brunch Saturday and Sunday, and our seasonal dinner menu Tuesday-Saturday nights. On Sunday nights, we serve our family style, local, free-range fried chicken dinner.

I am never disappointed when I decide to go to Lily's! The food is always wonderful and they also offer vegan options. I typically go for brunch and grab a mimosa to go with my meal. The mango and pineapple mimosas are my favorite. The atmosphere and decor are always so eye catching. The staff is full of rockstars as well, who genuinely love their job.

Good vibes, excellent, varieties of dietary dishes. Hanging out doors gets you good time, weather dependant, of course. Our dishes were nice, considering we are vegetarian not vegan, sometimes it's hard to find variety of dishes. Dishes were served nicely, and tasted surprisingly better than expected. So yeah, overall, worth visiting.  Vegetarian options: As mentioned in comments.

Service is very good. The fried chicken was good and priced well. The braised southern greens were some of the best. The grits needed some more flavor - the greens liquid took care of that. the sides may look small but are densely packed.  The veggie nachos are a large portion. We were not a fan of the cheese sauce but the rest of it and salsa Verde were good.  The Tom Kha Kai soup was very good.  We had the chocolate mint avocado pudding for dessert. Small but dense pudding that tasted very good and very satisfying.  Drink price are good with nice selection

Perfect Place after Levitt Concert. So many places shut down early but the food was delicious and they’re open til 10! Our waitress Meghan was nice too!  We ordered the Salmon Buddha Bowl and Chicken stir fryFood: 5/5

This restaurant is so lovely! We've been here twice now and it's a great experience overall. I personally love the plants and natural light. It was taco Tuesday, and they had $1 sangria with the purchase of food. They had a shorter menu for this day. I ordered the cauliflower tacos, and my husband got the steak tacos. Both had exquisite flavor; the pickled onions on the steak tacos gave it peak flavor, and the cream sauce+avocado on the cauliflower tacos tied all the ingredients together beautifully! We also got the desserts avocado pudding, peanut butter pie, and beach pie. All of them were amazing! I highly recommend for anyone to try this place at least once.  Vegetarian options: I ordered the cauliflower tacos, and they were amazing! Great flavor, nothing lacking.

I've been to Lily's once before with my fiancé and I enjoyed both experiences immensely. Excellent atmosphere and lovely food, with the rangoon appetizers being particularly delicious. If you're looking for a chill and relaxing eatery in the Oregon District this is definitely the place to go!Food: 5/5

Everything about this place was delicious. My sister got the Buddha bowl and it was on point. I got a bagel and cream cheese. The bagel was really good. The cream cheese was really good and a real balance of flavors was there. Great service, great decorFood: 5/5

A charming restaurant, sort of a hipster vibe but they welcome everyone! Ordered the crawfish wontons, the Vietnamese Po Boy sandwich  with pork bell, kimchi, etc , and Gouda Mac and cheese, all very good! Apparently they are known for their fried chicken, however we did not try it.

This is a go-to when I come into town. The ambiance is wonderful, the people are amazing, and the food is delicious. We went on a Tuesday, which was a special taco menu, and both tacos we tried were incredible. We also tried the Elote Ribs - they were so tasty and the sauce added so much flavor, plus they were fun to eat. I’ll definitely stop by Lily’s every time I make it to town - I’ve been delighted each time.

Made reservations since I was bringing my dog.. they had a dog bowl of water for her and a table with a shaded place to sit. Good food! Got busy fast, so very glad to have made reservations. I definitely will return next time in town, especially since they are dog friendly .Food: 5/5
