Henry's was a recent, local find with a unique atmosphere and great, home cooked flavors! PANCAKES! They do have limited hours make sure to check their website before going, but when open, they'll be our new breakfast and lunch alternative to the Maple Grove Perkins!
Best fish fry in the cities. Just too bad that it's only during Lent. All of the food is great, though. Unassuming place, but small town style diner.
Awesome little cafe located in a mini mall. The location was unusual for a cafe but once you get in, sit down and start eating your food you forget you’re in a mini mall. I met my parents here for breakfast and it was great. I wish I could remember what I ordered but I do remember the I got home fries and sausage gravy which was amazing! I wanted to order a second order! I loved that Lily introduced herself and more impressive was always walking around refilling customers coffee cups. Nice to see the owner active in their business. I would definitely go back again!
I meet two of my coworkers for breakfast around 10:30. Food was great. The service on the other hand less then stellar. The two older women did not smile not one time. Acted as if they did not want to wait on us. We asked for more coffee after our meal and we were told No! That the lunch rush was coming in and we needed to get going. Never in my 48 years have I been told this. At the time there were at least 5 tables not being used! We were dumbfounded. Will not return! I will be sure to let people know what an unfriendly place it is. Sad:
Food quality good. Prices, moderate, a bit high. The blt with egg was missing egg. Club toast was a bit cool. Portions were good. Stuffed hash browns seemed a bit small. I'd go again.
Open 7 days a week, for the best breakfast in town! The pancakes are amazing, as well as the cinnamon or caramel rolls. Super clean and brightly decorated, and Lily is such a sweetheart!
Henry's is the best small diner in the Twin Cities. All of the food is great, but their Sausage Gravy is the best I've ever had! It is always packed so come early or be prepared to wait 15 mins or so for seating.
Small town diner feel. Specials. Henry recognized me even though I haven't visited as much as I'd like to. The bread is really good. My only wish is that he'd open on Sunday, but understand he needs 1 day off.
When I visited it was called Henry's I think. I rememeber thinking I wont be coming back. I dont know why all these breakfast restaurants thinks its ok to charge so much for a couple of eggs, bacon, and toast. If you are going to charge more than $10.00, it better be damn good, this place didnt make the cut.
A small restaurant located within a mini mall with some delightful and interesting breakfast choices as well as good lunch choices. You might consider picking up a loaf of freshly baked bread while you're there.
