Limestone Grille

About

The Limestone Grille is a Contemporary American grille.

Description

The American Arts and Crafts Movement blossomed at the turn of the 20th century on the tree lined streets of peaceful villages in upstate New York. The movement was a personal and architectural revolt against the ornateness of the Victorian style.

This Movement sparked a period of design characterized by simplicity, honestly and integrity.

Here in Fayetteville, Leopold and John George Stickley created Arts and Crafts furniture using innovative construction techniques which have endured as hallmarks of the Movement.

The Craftsman Inn is dedicated to these Craftsman ideals. Look around, the designs that inspire the building, the chairs and tables, the lighting and pictures, all evoke that ideal.

Our Limestone Grille was launched in 2008 as the heir to our more stately Craftsman House. The Limestone reflects the 21st century evolution of these concepts as once again a desire for a simpler, truer, more authentic approach becomes prevalent. Our dining room and lounge reflect clean, Mission style design but with warm colors, classic furnishings, and contemporary appointments. Our service staff and bartenders provide friendly yet attentive service, knowledgeable without being presumptuous, helping to create the sense of relaxed comfort we all seem to miss so much of the time. That end result is what inspires us to do the best we can.

The service for breakfast was good. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I had an omelet it could have been seasoned but overall was cooked well and tasty. My fiancé however had the better breakfast as she chose the breakfast sandwich. The shredded breakfast potatoes were however unseasoned, flavorless, and greasy.
The remodel looks great, beer list and menu are awesome. Food took quite a while to arrive but likely due to being newly reopened and very busy. Will check it out again in a few weeks.
We had our Christmas party here and they went out of there way to please us. Food was amazing, so many rooms to check out for events and the out side fire place was charming as ever. We will have another event here for sure.
This was a good restaurant but a review of the restaurant as it existed in 2016 is pointless because it has been completely remodelled. The new restaurant is excellent, except to say they messed up my companion's twice. Having said that, they went out of their way to make up for it. The manager visited to apologize and my companion's dinner was free and desserts were free. I left a tip based on full price because it was a cook error, not a waiter error. I have been there 5+ other times since they reopened after remodelling and each time the food was excellent and the service has always been excellent. Just the one hiccup. They also have outdoor seating and outdoor heating for brave souls in the winter. There were some groups outside appearing to have a good time. I haven't used the bar but it appears to be fully stocked and nice looking. Update. I have continued to visit the restaurant, most recently December 31, 2021. I tend to try the specials to try something different. One was just good while countless others were excellent. Also, we have been getting the same waitress lately. Her initial is H. She is excellent and refreshingly attentive.
Great selection of drinks for happy hour and one of the best salads w/ salmon that I have ever had. You will not be disappointed!
If you've read my reviews you know that my brother is the chef at a similar restaurant in town...it was his choice to eat here for his birthday. Our apps, dinners and desserts were all good to really good. For the price nothing stood out as exceptional. I suspect we're paying in part for the ambiance the new remodel is beautiful! Our server Drew who we know from another restaurant is one of the very best! Overall a really nice dining experience...we'll definitely eat here again...4 stars!
My burger was overdone and three salmon meals were underdone. The atmosphere is now an industrial modern style, very open, and a bit loud with a crowd. I liked it before the remodel where every table felt much more intimate and I think the food was better before. Service was very good and the outdoor area is very nice with fireplaces.
We love taking friends and family to the Limestone Grille. The menu is always inventive and full of diverse choices. The service is friendly and efficient and the atmosphere and appointments are lovely. Even when crowded you can still enjoy a quiet conversation. You can count on a stellar dining experience at this restaurant.
We stopped here for a quick lunch and were more than pleased with our decision. The newly remodeled Craftman has a beautiful outdoor space with heaters and fireplaces, a large bar and open kitchen so you can see everything going on. The food was delicious with plenty of options. We will definitely be going back.
The newly remodeled restaurant has a comfortable feel to it. The architectural style is Arts and Crafts and there's lots of open space with wooden beams and period artwork and lamps. I met friends here today for lunch and we all ordered the half-pound burger with a side salad. The salad was underdressed, but the burger was cooked to perfection over an open-flame wood fire. At $18, it's among the more expensive burgers I've had, but I think it was well worth it. They also offer a one pound burger in the $32 range. The service was excellent and the overall experience was very good. We'll be back.
