I didn't spend much time in the actual playground, but behind the treeline are beautiful waterfalls and a slow, shallow stream that you can follow up the stream. It was a great activity to do because of the great outside. It was fun for the whole family. I can't wait to do it again. Be sure to bring water and a wet bag!
This is a hidden gem in Frisco. The park has stunning trails, kids playground, and a limestone quarry with a waterfall that charges up after rain. I would recommend visiting after it rains to take some waterfall pictures. The parking lot is small but we were easily able to find a spot.
When we heard there was a hidden waterfall in Frisco, we had to find it. It's totally unexpected, and I'm not sure where the waterfall comes from, but it's cool. This is definitely worth getting outside for.
Nice park with a long walking/biking trail. There are play areas for kids and also basketball court for older kids to play. There is also space for small gathering and events which is great. Highly recommend the walking trail, goes through wooded areas and small stream of water
Surprise hit as children found shallow stream perfect but slippery ! for in-stream walk. Main path above stream has some dangerous open sections high above the stream. CAUTION THERE NECESSARY. Restrooms: Could not find a restroom.
I came by to look at the waterfall! It is definitely small, but a nice place to hang out. I walked further down the river and saw clothes and a rope hanging from a tree. I didn't go past that point because I was scared, but everything else was great.
I come here to run about a 5 mile run trail if you transfer when you hit Ridgeview Drive, and I also come here to let my kid play in the quarry and the various playgrounds along the trail. Very beautiful, the quarry is shallow but clear enough to see the small fish swimming inside. Great place to be as a family.
This is Frisco’s hidden gem of a park! It’s a stream of clear water that is about knee deep you can walk down for about a half mile and think you’re in Colorado. Along the way there’s a waterfall that the kiddos can play under. When you climb back up the bank and through the woods you come upon a a major greenbelt park complete with a great kids playground and a walking trail for the big kids. Highly recommend this hidden peaceful Frisco park.
Super super fun park! The playground is good, but the creek is what makes this park awesome! We had fun exploring up and down the creek, observing all sorts of creatures in and out of the water. It is tucked in a neighborhood, and it seems like the residents treasure this place. It was pretty clean and well kept. The ONLY reasons for 4 stars are 1 NO BATHROOMS and 2 there is limited parking in front of the park.
Awesome place for weekend walk and limestones near creek make some scenic views. Water in creek near park is so crystal clear, it would gives illusion of filtered water. Also long walk on trail can be good family time with younger kids. You can bicycle ride or skate on long cement walkway.
