January 2013-Plymouth High School and Lincoln Jr. High receive national distinction from Speak Up.
We challenge our 7th and 8th grade students by providing them opportunities to be ready for high school and beyond.
Lincoln Junior High students have access to a challenging curriculum that includes Humanities, Algebra, Geometry, Integrated Chemistry and Physics, Chinese, Medical Detectives, Introduction to Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources, Orchestra, Choir, Band, and many others.
Several of our courses are completed for high school credit. All of our courses emphasize abundant amounts of reading, writing, and discussing and students learn in a 1:1 environment. Innovation Academy students learn via Project Based Learning.
Extra-curricular offerings help our students build school pride. Students participate on academic, athletic, and performing arts teams and activities throughout the school year. All of our teams perform at high levels in competitions and contests.
Our staff of teachers is outstanding. They have a growth mindset and believe that through effort, persistence, and the right menu of instructional strategies all students can be successful. They belong to a learning organization that is Plymouth Community Schools. They continue to learn together and lead together.
Some of our recent successes include: 95% of our Algebra students passing their end of course assessment, 6 conference championships each of the past two years, top finishes in competitions for band, orchestra, choir, and speech teams.
We would like to encourage you to visit our great school and consider making Lincoln the choice for your child if it is not already.
Sincerely, Principal Reid Gault
