It’s sad that I have to write this review because I’ve been going to this practice for over 10yrs. My dentist left The practice in 2021 and used his partner Dr. Jatoi. Something was off about Dr. Jatoi and his assistant forcing you into getting services. Dr. Jatoi disappeared and I moved to a different practice as I was planning on doing. I was told I needed two emergency root canals with the new practice. When I went to put my last crown, I was told my insurance benefits were maximized and I had to cough up $1350. Confused why my benefits were maximized as I only had 1 cleaning and one visit to check a sensitive tooth in that fiscal year. I created an account and checked my claims to my surprise Dr. Jatoi billed my insurance for a total of 9 fillings which he never performed. I haven’t had a filling in over 8 plus years. Dr. Jatoi claimed he did 5 filling in my September 2021 visit and 4 fillings in my November 2021 visit. Don’t know how my insurance didn’t catch that its ridiculous to have so many fillings in one visit especially since I go to the dentist every 6 months. THIS MAN NEEDS TO BE JAILED!!! He fraudulently drained my benefits and left me with no money for my real dental work. I should add that I had a credit of a few hundred dollars that magically disappeared as well. When I asked about the credit I was told that I actually had a balance left when I was moving to my new dentist dentist. I’m hoping to have their fraudulent claims reversed and my $1350 reimbursed to me or I’ll be seeking a good attorney!
Love the staff here. Was able to get in for my appointment quickly. Adriana was extremely patient and was able to effectively consult me about my primary and secondary insurance and how they will cover my treatment. Also, Dr. Jatoi is great, definitely felt like he was being honest and genuine with me when providing my treatment options and the team offered to split my treatment into phases to save me money. Overall a fantastic experience, don't let the Karens tell you otherwise.
My whole family goes to LPD. Dr. Jatoi and his staff are extremely thorough and their preventive approach has saved my family and I money in the long run. I would recommend Dr. Jatoi to others! I have a gum recession and he has helped my gums stay healthy because I can not afford gum graphing at this time. Dr. Jatoi also recognized when my adult children's molers were coming in and suggested they get them removed. I appreciated this because I have heard horror stories of the molers causing infections and messing up the alighment of the teeth causing addtional expense with braces which I already payed for. The staff is also very friendly. Dr. Jatoi and the office staff knows my whole family and they always ask how everyone is doing. Love LPD! Thank you for providing such great quality of care!
They spent majority of my appointment attempting to sell me on unnecessary treatment. Echoing other reviews: they didn’t use regular cleaning supplies on my teeth. When I thought I was finally done refusing the extra treatment and cost, they hit me with a random $9 covid fee as I was leaving. Staff was nice but I won’t be returning.
I give Lincoln Park Dentistry, Dr. Harris Jatoi and his team high marks! Dr. Jatoi is thorough and is patient! His assistant is AWESOME! She is funny and totally understanding when comes to the anxiety of a dental visit due to a past trauma! The whole team including the very well informed receptionist made me very at ease and grateful that I didn’t give in to the onset of fear/anxiety. I recommend this team for your and your family’s dental needs.
HORRIBLE experience! Extremely rude. They do not care about patients. No sense of customer service. They provide incorrect information about charges and billing. Do NOT rely on their analysis. Call your insurance company first. Also, receptionist Adrianna is very very rude. She does not care about patient discomfort and has no empathy. She is totally inflexible and since she controls the appointments which are hard to come by at this office, she expects differential treatment. Save time and money. DO NOT go to this office!
SCAMMERS. STAY AWAY. I've written less than 10 online reviews my whole life, but this was literally the worst healthcare experience I've ever had. Called to schedule an appointment. Receptionist gave me a time, asked to have my insurance fax them info. Also asked me to call back for more patient info. I'm a doc myself, rearranged patients and had someone cover me to make this appointment. I did call back 2 days before the appointment, and she said she never scheduled me because I didn't call back earlier, now schedule is full. Absolutely terrible communication, then blamed me for it. That wasn't even the worst part. When I finally was able to get another appointment, they don't even clean my teeth. They say due to covid they can't use their regular tools, so the hygenist puts the paste stuff on and that's it hygenist was very nice btw. Yet, they then say I need a deep cleaning, which was going to cost $2000 half covered by insurance, and for that their tools become magically covid-safe. Shared the specifics with my cousin who's a dentist and he said I don't need a deep cleaning, just start flossing regularly and get rechecked before shelling out that much. When I called after my appointment to try to understand this, receptionist gave me totally made up information, then doc came on and said maybe I'm not a good fit for their practice. Well, he's definitely right about that. I hope this place goes out of business.
New to the States, my Maryland bridge came off. I went to the dentist only to be told that they do not like to make this type of bridge despite of the fact that I was not suitable for other types of procedure. I was then told that my bite had 'probably' changed ? and after a botched attempt at trying to attached my tooth I was discharged and charged for their x-ray, which I said I didn't really want and their advice but no tooth attached. I now have to wait a month to be able to apply to change dentists and no tooth in the front of my face! Disgraceful dentistry. Worse place I have ever been to.
BEWARE!! FRAUDULENT BILLING / SERVICE! I went for a routine cleaning and the dentist told me I needed deep cleaning & wouldn't work on my teeth unless I agree to it, then billed me for 3x the reasonable and customary, THEN DID NOT EVEN DO A PROPER CLEANING!!! On top of it they said I needed a crown ASAP. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and was told not only that I don't need a crown, but that my deep cleaning was never done, AND MY ROUTINE CLEANING WAS POORLY DONE!!! To add insult to injury, they billed my insurance for service never received or provided. FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD!!!
Dr. Nili is great. I definitely recommend him/Lincoln Park Dentistry over anywhere else I've been.
