It was a nice day to visit a park we hadn't been here. Lots of cars. Didn't realize how big the park was. Very well shaded. We are from Dallas, so we were only able to be here just here for a few hours as the site seeing continued
Beautiful park full with amenities people should appreciate it more.
One of my favorite LA public pools! Very new and clean, it's also saltwater instead of chlorine which is so nice.
I go here quite often I'll it's close to my friend's place and if you need to use the restroom there are plenty of them! My dog loves it too, there I plenty of things for her to sniff! The day before the 4th of July they had the Best Firework show I have ever seen, literally, it was amazing!
I loved the park! There's not too much to visit but the area is quite nice!
Nice little park, with not such a nice surroundings..
I grew up coming to this park and seeing the train pass by.. We also used to fees the ducks and squirrels. I come here for breakfast to just relax and see all the different types of ducks and bird watching. Great for picnics and birthday parties!
The park is beautiful, the lake is unique, water will always seeps up from the ground, it is a tributary of Los Angeles River. There is a skateboard park, professional baseball field, basketball and handball court where you can enjoy with family and friends. Tons of large trees, a place to walk with lots of oxygen. The park is clean, 3 toilet buildings, on Mission Rd, Valley Bl, and close to a parking lot. The park and restrooms are kept clean by super responsible crews. This Sunday and every other Sunday, there is an art and craft market high quality merchandises for gifts to your family and friends. Come check them out ASAP see in photos.
Ducks, geese, and I don't know what other birds, but come down and feed them. Two playgrounds for the kids. Some graffiti and homeless people near the restrooms but overall good experience.
For Kids: good variety of play equipment and plenty of bathrooms. Equipment has some wear and tear but looks to be in good condition. Everything is in a big sand pit. The ducks are a nice change up distraction for the kids.
