Under construction, looking forward to playing disc golf again in early Spring’23….
It’s under construction currently but usually it’s a great walk or bike ride.
This is a great place to head to if your looking for a wide-open park to ride a bike or go for a walk or run. It also has a family friendly dusk golf course with 9 holes which run in a straight line so if you want to play 18 you do the second nine backwards. I recommend the Udisk app for this. Many of the sculptures are portals for Ingress as well as stupid for Pokemon Go and Harry Potter Wizards unite.
This walking path is very scenic and mostly well kept except for occasional garbage overflow after special occasions or weekends. I feel that they should schedule garbage pick up early on Mondays. Otherwise this is a great and enjoyable walking path.
Great sculptures and nice to walk through. I love coming here ti clear my minds off things. Also very clean. Never dissatisfied when walking through this park. There’s always friendly people
Usually a great walking path. Installation of a new "sludge pipe" is currently disrupting the tranquility.
The disc golf course was nice and open. Great for both new and experienced players to get out and throw a few holes. I wish the holes had individual maps or even a portable map to know how each hole plays out, but finding out that almost all of them are super short makes things easy.
Disc golf course isn't anything special, but it's much better than nothing. 9 short to medium holes with minimal obstacles. A few sculptures add some nice atmosphere. The narrow course is between a busy 4 lane road and a river, but the holes are short enough and trees separate the course from the river so there's not much chance of losing a disc. Pedestrians and bikers are common on the path that runs along the park. Path itself is pretty nice, a little bumpy in spots, but no worse than anywhere else in the city.
A well maintained park strip where I go for the best and only "pitch and putt" disc golf course in the surrounding area. Obstacles include McCormick hwy if you overturn a slice, and the occasional picnicking family sprawled out on the "course" who may look at you like you are nuts for throwing discs around the park. Aside from currently through the pandemic they have an always clean port o potty so you don't have to be the weirdo peeing in the woods.
Disc golf course sucks, but otherwise a nice park. The baskets are nice though so hopefully they'll donate them to a new course that is playable.
