We had issues with a neighbor that was negligent to resolve a fire hazard on his property. We noticed the county 3 times and nobody showed up…. Linda fire department came within 2 days of notifying them and took care of it all. REAL COMMUNITY HEROES!!!
These guys are the best! Our over the stairs smoke alarm battery started chirping at 4am. As my husband is dealing with cancer, I needed someone to help hold the ladder for me to change the battery. I called the station to see if they knew of anyone who could help me - and they said under the circumstances they would come out, even though this is not something they normally do. They were here and done in 15 minutes, and I didn't have to climb a ladder! In fact, they brought the ladder downstairs for me. I am so indebted to them - my husband was able to get back to sleep. Thank you so much!
This Fire Department doesn't just go to emergencies, but they also work hard by trying to catch people illegally burning and hoarding. They are on it when it comes to fire hazards. I lived there for a short time, but Linda is very lucky to have this department. I kind of say they're trying to clean up the small town of Linda. Also the Fire Chief, will talk to you if you have concerns regarding illegal burning or hoarding.
