Dr. Miyatake was born and raised in San Mateo, CA. She attended UC Berkeley as an undergraduate, received her Doctorate in Dentistry at UCSF Dental School, and received her Doctorate in Medicine at UCSF Medical School. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Miyatake attended the prestigious General Surgery Program at the University of Chicago for three years where she was a resident in General Surgery, Anesthesia, and Critical Care. After General Surgery, she entered and completed the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at UCSF and completed a 6-month externship at the Royal London Hospital in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Miyatake is Medical Boarded, California Dental Boarded and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, bringing over twenty years of experience and expertise to her patients. She is a member of several professional associations and is on call with Mills Peninsula Hospital.
