My wife and I travel between our home town and LaCrosse, WI about 50miles one way at least once or twice a month. When we do, we make it a point to stop at Linda's Bakery in West Salem along the way. Every thing is so fresh and tasty and the customer service here is above and beyond super friendly people. The prices are reasonable for the quality of baked goods you get. I'd much rather buy one good quality thing than a dozen bad or mediocre things! Linda's Bakery is well know in west central Wisconsin. They distribute their products to a fairly large area LaCrosse being one of them. They recently made 3,000 pies for Thanksgiving, so you know they have a large bakery! I have attached some photos to give you an idea of what the place looks like and what they have to offer in their store front. This place is a sweet tooth's dream!
They have a wonderful bakery that has been in business for 50 years. A different flavor of cake donuts eveyday
If you are looking for a variety of unique, fresh baked goods and Donuts be sure to stop in! Their coffee is incredible along with their staff!!
I love this bakery. Everything here is delicious. My picks are the M&M Cookies, Sweet Rolls, and Banana Bread. Always fresh. They sell out quick daily, so get there early.
I came to Linda's to check out their selection of bakery items and ended up buying 12 donuts, 4 cake pops and some dog treats. The lady who helped me was amazing I wish I knew her name. She was very patient, friendly, and helpful.
They have a large variety of bakery items. At one time their quality and taste we're way above other area bakers. They were also very reasonably priced. Today however they are quite expensive and their competition have closed the gap on quality and taste.
This bakery is so helpful and easy to work with. I ordered a cake to be delivered to my son. My son is a pilot on a cruise ship that travels up and down the Mississippi. They had a small window to deliver the cake while he was docked in Lacrosse and got it done as promised. I am so grateful they made his 28th birthday special. I live in OH and can't thank them enough. My son said the cake was delicious! Wish I could have been there to eat it with him. But the crew enjoyed it.
Excellent bakery with lots of unique baked goods including German Onion Rye bread that I have nowhere else in Wisconsin. The German Onion Rye is still excellent as were the Charlie Brown cookies and Soft Molasses cookies.
Donuts are delicious! Sampled cake for the 50th anniversary celebration, it was amazing! So delicious, very moist. I'ts definitely worth the visit if your near West Salem,WI
I always stop at Linda's for a treat when passing through. Baked goods are amazing. I love the onion buns.
