It's a great park. Nice new fancy skatepark, large loop for walking and running that connects to a trail into town on both ends, basketball courts, well maintained areas along the water for picnicing and exploring. If you wanted to bring a net there is even a half a tennis court that is the perfect size for pickleball. The only drawback is that there is just a single port-o-potty for facilities.
Live down the street and my grandson likes throwing rocks in the water..great place to walk to the end and back... Playground: Small playground swings and slide couple jungle Jim's... Dog-friendliness: Everyone walks their dogs there..
Great place to walk. I love the water and the occasional train appearance. The path is cleared so it's safe even in the winter weather. Been coming to this park since I was 4 years old. Its home .
Was a great park to take my younger kid who goes there for soccer but now avoid it. Putting a skateboarding park here was the worst idea the town came up with. Now there are just teenagers/adults smoking weed and vaping, and my kids have to walk through it in order to get to soccer practice. Going forward, I will find another town/ team to bring my kid to join.

Nice little linear park along the Naugatuck River. Walked my doggo along the trail next to the river. Paved walkway around the ballfield is also available. Trash cans and porta-potties. Nice little diversionary park with plenty of parking. Today's update... MUCH COLDER than last time!
Great walk. NICE to see the color of the leaves changing.
Went to my sons flag football game around 7-8pm. It was fun. Parking was terrible and around 8 the smells of the sewage treatment plant started to waft over to the field. Good size playground: swings, slide, monkey bars. Teenagers tend to hang at the basketball courts playing hoop or riding bikes. I’ve seen a few people play tennis occasionally. Quite a walk down to the field area.
Nice park next to the river. Has nice large soccer field, 4 basketball hoops and some tennis courts. It has a a simple kids play ground. It has a walking path around the soccer field and has a good amount of people walking. The only thing I don't like is that it's right next to the highway which causes lots of noise. Overall it's night and think the basketball court lights turn on some times.
