Real nice facilities & staff with all manner of well organized activities. My rating of 5 stars are not enough to recognize the Excellence of organized activities, the very nice facilities and knowledgeable Staff Excellence. For those with children — the City of Killeen have ensured these facilities ARE child friendly
Very hostile environment. Facilities are very nice thanks to the community support. Administration and management completely fail.
I began taking my 80 yr old mom after spending a day there myself. Its a clean facility. Enjoyed seeing the seniors interacting with each other, playing cards and pool. I sat and listened to a class playing musical instruments -beautiful music and beautiful sight to see. There is a library/ reading room with computers. An awesome gym. Exercise classes and arts and craft activities. The personnel were great and very helpful. Peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. Mom enjoys going. I take advantage of Tuesdays for myself, since the hours are later. Unfortunately the rest of the week does not accommodate my work schedule- my workday ends at 330pm. Sure wish the hours were a bit later.
Love that place. I go there to exercise, line dance and have all kinds of activities. You can't get bored. You meet good people and it's clean. Seniors should appreciate that place. There's free coffee and tea all day. What else could you ask for? Free membership.
I hope I'm doing a review for the correct facility. I was not able to get into the clean facility due to a water main break and they're saying possible structural damage. They are hoping it will re open in September or October the building outside is beautiful and the building next to it where there is a workout facility is top notch. I would wager a guess that the senior facility is just as nice when it's open. Looking forward to going in there for my 1st visit.
I love going to the Lions Club Senior Citizen Center. They have fun activities like cards, pool, knitting, computer classes, Bible study. They have a gym, aerobic classes, Library, line dance classes, just an array of activities that you can choose from. Great place to meet nice people.
Is really nice a nice place to go to to get to know people it's a very clean place. And I love the environment they also have good food and I'm just getting started so I'm looking forward to doing exercising or something with myself I'm still trying to get in and see what's up so far I love it somewhere to go and stay motivated with yourself and get to know people
Enjoyed pickleball here, heard speakers here, walked Lion's park. Accessbuilding and parking with ramps
Still a 5 star place for seniors. Clean, well run. Lots of scheduled activities. Free lunch for certain age groups though the quality has seriously deteriorated. Check it out!
Love playing Bidwhist twice a week. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming!
