We are here staying with friends and had a convention in Downtown Chicago. The attendant at the ticket booth has alway been very nice to us and very helpful. It was the easiest way to commute to the city. Ticket prices aren't bad at all. Seniors over 65 get a discount at the window. If you forget to purchase at the ticket booth and have cash you can buy one on the train with a conductor. Everyone running the train has been super helpful.

If you’re not a monthly parking pass holder do not use Lisle station before 8AM. The office sells daily parking passes beginning at 7:55AM. Downers Grove has pay-boxes for daily parking - use them for earlier departures. I didn’t see a lot F unless I’m blind. As of 3/5/2019 daily parking rate is $3.00
I use this station for for basic needs other than daily commuting. It is fine overall. My only observation is to not that if you park in the far commuter parking lot, it is a little over a third of mile to the station. Couple that with going through the tunnel to the inbound side, it can add several minutes to the time needed to park and catch your train. As with most Metra commuter lots, it is completely full until the first mid-afternoon outbound train arrives, so finding a space closer to the station is non likely. Bottom line, add 5 minutes to what you think your station arrival time is and you will be fine.
One of the best stations for Metra in the western burbs, other than the parking situation. Most inbound express trains at this stop originate here, meaning that the train is often sitting at the station waiting to depart. Very nice in the winter months to wait on the train instead of standing outside. Monthly parking wait list is years long and they eliminated all of their daily parking spots. There are various private lots where you can get a quarterly/monthly permit including a near by church.
The Lisle, 1000 Front St, Lisle, IL 60532 train station is great. There's an elevator on both the North outbound train and South inbound train sides of the station. You can also buy a cup of coffee or a paper in the mornings at the main depot on the South side of the station. Parking is difficult here at the train station.
Pretty big station with long platforms. The way to get across to the either side of the station is a little complicated, especially if you’re in a rush. The station has elevators for anyone in need. Train service is frequent throughout the week.
No parking smells bad ticket window only open half the time attendants are generally rude as well parking on street is only after 10 am the lot on the north was taken by the city for municipal bldg I guess lisle didn't need parking revenue just raise my taxes instead glad we have a new mayor will he kill another golden goose?
I don't know how to review a train station. The train stops here. You get on it or you get off of it. Has buses too. Don't play on or near the tracks. Toot Toot
They usually lock the station so you have to wait in the stairwell when it's cold.
