Litchfield Park Recreation Center - LPRC

I have been happy with prior child programs. I enrolled my son into basketball and they are unable to find a volunteer coach, we do not have any schedule which is extremely discouraging with multiple kids in multiple activities. Now, I find out that the costs are non-refundable if I have conflicting schedules despite their inability to secure a date/time. For the same amount of money, I would suggest using a more organized recreation program.

Great festival, Fine Art and wine tasting can it get any better....yes it canthey also had a whole bunch of vendors! I must say "The Queens Corn" has the best popcorn I have ever had.

It was great like usual. We went todayon a Sat and I figured it works be crowded since it was the weekend. Nope there were only a few people there so it was really nice.

i grew up swimming for this swim team and it is disappointing to see how racially preferenced the lifeguard staff is, specifically the head coordinator jenna. not only do lifeguard lessons cost over 100, but she doesn’t even give people of color a chance to be a lifeguard, and if so they are a lighter color and only 1 spot available. notice how almost the whole staff is white and during applications never hires a single black person… just something to keep in mind when you apply that you can never win in litchfield park if you are of color.

Hot for the Heat/High Temps/111°. However watching these young people do their jobs teaching these kids to swim and water safety, was a joy. Took away all thoughts of the hot weather. #swiminstructors #lifeguards #studentswimmers YAY!!!

Love the swim lesson instructors! Caitlyn sp? is awesome. She is the reason why my 7 year old is determined to become a phenomenal swimmer. I am so thankful we found this place and that my daughter was assigned to Caitlyn's group.

Friendly, clean and spacious. Loved the kiddie area. Very safe

Very good friendly staff. I came here to be in a swim team, they have cheap snacks in the vending machine.

We love the swim lessons! Both my boys have been taking swim lessons since last summer! We always sign up for the whole season! The lifeguards are SO amazing and work with the children so they aren’t afraid of the water. My boys love all of their teachers and have become so comfortable with the water! We choose to continue to come back every year because of the phenomenal instruction! Shout out to Ms Caitlyn, Mr B, Mr Brandt, Mr Cooper, and Ms Courtney who have helped my boys out so much!!

The pool is so small, and all they have is a basketball hoop that most small kids can't even use. Most of the lifeguards are really nice, however the pool manager or head lifeguard is on a power trip. I think they enjoy being mean to the kids that come in there. They "fail" kids which doesn't allow them to skin in the deep end, after passing them the day before. So in my eyes I'd stay away and go to another pool that the kids can have actual fun at.
