Bank On Wayne was developed by United Way of Wayne County and is provided by Literacy
Connections of Wayne County, to address the needs of those individuals struggling to make
ends meet, particularly those operating outside of the financial mainstream. Bank On Wayne
provides workshops in basic money management and budgeting as well as workshops in basic banking skills. Additionally, Bank On Wayne connects the unbanked to transactional, affordable banking products.
All of our workshops are offered on-site at Literacy Connections. However, the program can be offered at local businesses, churches and organizations in Wayne County. All of the services are free and all materials are provided. Registration, including identity verification, is required.
Literacy Connections of Wayne County is a non-profit agency dedicated to developing skills in reading, math, computer, and simple finance for adult learners in Wayne County, North Carolina in order that they may achieve success at home, at work and in the community.
