We stayed here for one night while traveling to our week long vacation. The site was reasonably priced. We got an easy pull thru and were able to stay hitched up for an easy out in the morning. The staff was kind and helpful as we booked last minute. It was a little bit off the highway, about 15 minutes, but worth it to have quiet and no Highway noise. If you’re traveling I-65 in Indiana it’s a nice stopping point.
Best pizza in the area. Friendly service even after we showed up after closing time.
8-27-22. Always call and ask about amenities if you need to stay there . I checked it out, didn't stay. It is crowded, looks like a lot of people have permanent sites they can come back to and most of them are kind of messy. They have a to--go restaurant. There was a couple of RV sites on the North side by a field but still Within the trees. The bathrooms are large, have 4 or 5 shower stalls. I don't know if the washer and dryer works. I stopped & asked a manager where I could park if I were to, and sleep in my pickup overnight. She said I could pull in the grass by the pond no privacy.. & there's no electric, picnic table etc. I don't think she knew that the girl in the office told me she was going to charge me $30 a night and RVs were $35 a night. And if you wanted electric it would be $5 more either way. I left.
Not much here other than full hookups and both 30 or 50 amp sites. Lots and lots of shade which is really nice. Trees are well maintained. Nice little to go restaurant on site. There is a playground with nice basketball court setup. Lots of walking areas. Mostly quiet, zero road noise. Some occasionally loud music on the weekends, seems turned down around 11pm. Owners are friendly and attentive. They are on site and constantly taking care of the campground.
Good visit. Grand kids enjoyed it.camp sites could use rock for campers to pull up on.iwas afraid if it was to rain we could sink and be stuck.the swimming area i thought could be better maintained as well as kids play area.but did enjoy Frisbee golf with granddaughters.bathroom and showers could also be better but we still enjoyed our two day stay.
Stopped here as my original campground I had planned to go to was full. Owners were friendly. Most of the people here appeared to be long term summer vacationers and enjoyed a good time. There was a lot of riding around in golf carts. I found a spot that had a picnic bench and small fire pit that met my needs for the night. Bathroom is in need of a serious revamp. The shower had a strong sulphur smell to it. The place had a really nice playground for kids and a pond for swimming in.
Can't say anything but good things about the campground and owners. We got our reservations at another camp ground pulled out from under our feet and on a Saturday morning memorial day weekend they got us right in and even went out to make sure they had a spot we could fit in! Our kids loved the playground and we very much enjoyed the nice quiet relaxing weekend! Will definitely stay here again! Thank you so much to the owners!!
We stopped here for the night as we were passing through on our way east. The host/owner was very kind and hospitable. Despite how busy she was, she was always ready to help us. There’s not much space for overnight camping since most spots are taken by long term camping. The bathroom needs to be updated. There was a lot of space for the kids to run around and play at the playground. There’s not much option near here for camping, but the owner/host makes the stay pleasant despite the outdated bathroom and amenities.
Absolutely loved the park! Nothing negative to say great people and great pizza! Owners are amazing bathrooms were redone spots are shady small fishing/swimming pond! Really awesome place!
Overpriced with no amenities. It was overpriced at $37.50 and needed to additionally pay $5 a day to connect to their hot spot. The playground was old. Dump and garbages were not convenient and we would not even use the dump station.
