Happy my sister and I happened upon this little restaurant! We first came to try the lunch buffet, which was very good, especially for the price! There are a lot of chicken dishes with individual tastes, which I love. The egg rolls are fantastic. If you like beef or seafood you will find it lacking. Also there is only one small buffet so the amount of items are limited, but every item on the buffet was enjoyable for me, so I was satisfied with the selection. We came back to have dinner on Chinese New Year. I had the Chicken with Garlic Sauce, which was a bit more sweet than I'm used to, but still very tasty. I ordered the steamed dumpling appetizer, which was delicious, the sauce that comes with them was great as well. The meat inside was like a hearty meatball surrounded with some nice juices. Great to see some substantial meat, unlike the bland not so tasty stuff that some places have. Nice looking dining area, very clean. The waitresses were super nice and remembered us from our last visit. Also told us to come back soon, I definitely plan to. Try this place out for sure.
I am honestly really surprised that this location has such high ratings. The portion sizes are very small considering the prices we paid for them. The service was very professional and quick. We ordered: Orange chicken: very tasty, tender chicken and flavorful sauce, but smallish portion General Tsos chicken: was clearly reheated, old, very tough chicken Mongolian beef: tender beef, lots of veggies, very good flavor Beef and broccoli: very bland, very small portion of beef compared to the broccoli Shrimp fried rice: so so bland, zero flavor, it was nice to see large shrimp being used Chicken lo mein: decent flavor, but very few pieces of chicken, mostly veggies Crab Rangoon: decent, fresh Shrimp egg rolls: good flavor but only 1 piece for $3 Vegetable spring rolls: greasy but tasty, 2 pieces per portion Egg drop soup: this was awful. Hardly any egg at all, and tasted of rancid oil. It got poured down the sink. The crispy wontons were stale as well. Even the fortune cookies were old and stale. Based on the quality and amount of food I think the prices are way too high. Sad to say, I had very high hopes for this restaurant but would never order from here again.
Absolute garbage. We just moved to the area and looking for a good regular spot. We got take out on a Monday evening. The honey chicken was inedible- so hard couldn’t even get my fork stabbed in it. The Lomein extremely bland and gooey. Wontons cooked WAY too long that the filling was burnt away. The only decent item was the egg rolls. It was quite expensive as well. So disappointed.
Great customer service. Best Chinese food we have had in a long time. Priced right for the amount of food you receive. Definitely worth a visit. Ordered crab Rangoon, shrimp in lobster sauce, fried rice and beef lo mein. All the food was very tasty!
In town for a few nights, this is the best version of General Tso’s I’ve ever had. Egg rolls are huge and delicious. Great Food and Better Service! The wonderful lady running this place is amazingly friendly and kind! Loved it
Take out only! Not cool, Covid is Over!! The Eggrolls were hot and tasted good even though they are not hand made in house The Chicken in Garlic Sauce was tasty The 2 soups I tried were horrible and had NO FLAVOR even though they used good looking ingredients!! Dont get the Hot and Sour or the Vegetable Soup.
The hot and sour chicken was excellent, so five stars for that. The general TSO chicken was awful. Frozen, thawed and microwaved chicken, tough and stringy, mixed with some sauce out of a can, it seemed like. 5 stars for the soup, one star for the chicken.
Little Hong Kong is a hidden gem located in the Aldi shopping strip across from Southwest hospital on Bagley road in Middleburg heights. It's clean and nicely decorated inside. The prices are very reasonable, the food is good, and the service is good. Enjoy a lunch buffet for about $7.00 or do takeout for dinner. Recommend.
Amazing! They were so sweet and the service/food was great. We didn’t wait long either. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
The food is absolutely delicious, prices are great and staff is phenomenal and friendly! I've added a few images of the current menu as of February 4, 2020. You can also check out their Facebook page! Lunch buffet is currently $5.95!
