This place is absolutely beautiful! You can get pretty close to the animals. They all look to be well taken care of too! It was nice and clean. My only gripe is that we desperately needed water so we went to the gift shop and they didn't have any in there, only pop. The gift shop also didn't have any magnets or good gifts to buy. It was mostly stuffed animals and a few shirts and not many sizes to choose from.
Man, I wish incould give this 5 stars. Quite a few empty exhibits through the zoo, and everything inside from the water to the food is pricey so pack your wallet. But, the open exhibits were absolutely wonderful. The Apes were fun, chimps are sill, and the Orangutan with the baby was pretty fun to watch. It's hot and the animals are hot too. Not a ton of movement and I assume it's from the heat. The Big Cats were out and in view for some great pics. If you're in the area within an hour it's worth paying the $100 for the family membership. They do offer military discounts for entry so that is another plus as well!
I really enjoyed our trip to this zoo. The admission and stoller rentals were very reasonable. There are plenty of benches throughout this zoo as well as water fountains and restrooms. The animals were mostly out except for the penguins and 2 others. It wasn't overly crowed and the staff was good. The walking paths are roomy and have a good flow. They have snacks and an eatery inside but are somewhat pricey They also have a carousel and train rides at an extra cost
We took a three year old and a 16 year old and they both had a great time! The animals were well cared for and they have nice walkways and enclosures. This was fun for everyone and at lunch we stamped our hands and went across the street to the park and had a picnic lunch which was nice. I recommend the zoo to everyone!
Little Rock Zoo was fun. The scenery and animals were amazing. My family and I were most disappointed that three areas of the park, including the one with the bears, otters, and penguins, were animal-free. Yet those weren't deal breakers. We had fun exploring the park. Our family traveled three hours away for Easter to see the city and the zoo, and it was fantastic. We'll be back!
Amazing zoo, lots to do and the perfect amount of adventure for small children. A solid one day trip is perfect and the weather was amazing.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$21–30
Took my grandsons to the Little Rock Zoo and I was impressed. We had a wonderful day. There was information on each species and random information about the zoo which we found very interesting. Would definitely recommend this place.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$11–15
Zoo was empty… no animals and a bunch of signs saying they were elsewhere or with the veterinarian. I love zoo’s but this one was a waste of money unfortunately. Save your money and walk a track for free. The train was the only decent thing and it was thanks to the conductor. He was great!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$16–20
Family fun, absolutely. Only wish it was not as hot when we went. Lol. Got to see a lot of awesome animals and was a lot of walking. Food for 4 costed $57. Over priced food is the only complaint I have. A lot of people were also talking about that in the cafeteria area.
Very wonderful zoo! There were a lot of animals that are not at other zoos. The staff here was very friendly and stopped to talk about the animals. There were not a lot of enclosures empty which is kind of rare. There were food trucks at the zoo when we went and they were decently priced and delicious. I would definitely recommend getting a smushed penny outside of the gift shop as a souvenir it only costs $0.51 here!
