Live Oak Cafe

We are visiting California on a road trip from England and this was at our first stop. We had a couple of meals and more than a few drinks here over our 2 night stay at Best Western Santa Barbara. First impressions were very friendly, helpful staff which is always a good start. The drinks were very reasonably priced, the margaritas were well made. The food was very tasty and also very reasonably priced. Try the Pacific Rim bacon rice, it is unmissable. Best thing in this restaurant is the staff. They are friendly, attentive to your needs and efficient at serving you. I would stay at Best Western Bath Street again just to visit this restaurant. Thank you guys

Had the berry salad. Lots of berries and cheese and the Sriracha maple BLT. Lots of filling. It was like a home-made would be made like. Soup was tomato basil. Great prices and value. Recommend.Food: 5/5

The Lemon, lemon zest tiramisu ⁠*⁠ ...I pray it be made many, many more times among the rotating desserts made there ⁠ The food is also great, occasionally a little salty for my taste, but very reasonably priced!

Had an oat Cappuccino which is more a Latte whole grain pancakes and 2 eggs over easy. Everything was cooked well, caffeine in the expresso just be aware it's not a traditional cappuccino. Scanty on the fruit, maybe 3 or 4 blueberries and a tiny bit of strawberry. Strawberry was not great so just as well. Pancakes were okay but lacked flavor, well actually an unpleasant aftertaste for me. Only ate half. Not sure what the syrup was. Eggs cooked to order. Would try another time with a different choice for meal, there is plenty to choose on the menu. Friendly prompt service, nice atmosphere. I had my meal to go. Plenty of parking. Eating on the patio looked like a nice choice.

Amazing Breakfast listening to Birds in Outdoor seating. For Drinks we got Salted Caramel Coffee and for Quick breakfast We had a Avacdo Toast topped with Onion Salt and Tomatoes and Lemon Zest French Toast topped with Whipped cream and Pistachios. One of the best French toast we ever had Vegetarian options: Multiple Vegetarian options in small breakfast section and they also have mushroom omelet if we can accept eggs.

Excellent service, good food and welcoming environment! Had a nice breakfast and coffee here while needing to take a few work zoom meetings. There was mere a few tables with electric options to plug in the laptop and it was quiet enough.

Hidden gem of a place.. everything was fantastic. Service was top notch. I will be coming back to try something new on thier menu.. highly impressed.

Delightful cozy spot, where you eat next to tweeting birds and lots of plants. I liked the chicken piccata and the hearty italian soup. The kids fries and chicken tenders were a big portion Good service

Food was good and the atmosphere was nice, but the servers ignored my mother and I. Didn’t come by once to ask if we needed anything else.Food: 3/5
