I'm a longtime client of LOFD I'm talking since 2006; however, due to insurance changes at my job I wasn't able to continue my dental care there. I was assigned to a "corporate" dental group, unfortunately. I was extremely disappointed by this change, but figured I'd go to this new place through my benefit period then return to LOFD the next .... Three. Years. Later. I ended up just not going to the corporate place because everything was wrong with their service - the "upsell everything under the sun" philosophy, misdiagnoses, and utter lack of care - was a huge turn off. FINALLY my insurance allowed me to return to LOFD and I couldn't get there fast enough. Thankfully I didn't do too much damage by not going to the dentist for that unexpected extended period of time at least Dr. Fox & Zoila didn't make it seem that way. I was beyond ecstatic to be back "home" and was even more appreciative of the ladies not missing a beat! There are tons of dental options in the area; there's almost a dental office on every corner. I could've chosen either of these places, but with the numerous "fast food" dental options, I prefer "homecooking". LOFD is the homecooking of dental care for my family & me and I'm beyond happy to be back!
I've been coming to this office since I was a child. Best dental office in the San Antonio area! Dr. Fox is great and the entire office staff is very friendly. I have tried other dentists and feel like many try to force services or treatments that aren't needed, just to make money. Live Oak Family Dentistry has never made me feel like I'm getting treatments I don't need, very trustworthy, honest and overall awesome place to visit for your dentistry needs.
Nicest office staff of any Dentist in San Antonio. Dr. Fox was professional yet matter of fact. No needless attempts to sell me things I didn’t need like so many dentists out there. As the son of a retired dentist - I can tell when they care more about the patient than my pocket book and Dr. Fox is patient first. Thank you for taking such good care of me.
I have been going to this office for more than 30 years. I have always gotten exceptional care there, and everyone who works there is caring, compassionate, and great people. The wait is very rarely long. I highly recommend them.
I have been coming here for 21 years and most of the staff members are still here. It is truly a family dentistry. Dr. Fox took over a few years ago and she is great. Everybody is so friendly and professional.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! I am interested in becoming a dentist and asked if I could shadow and they agreed with no hesitation and have taught me a lot. Great group of people that care about there patients very much.
Extremely friendly staff and they definitely make you feel important, like family! I had a great experience and I'd definitely recommend everyone here rather than going to a chain dentist office!!!

I am a very apprehensive, nervous, upset at any dentist. It takes a lot to get me thru the door. Dr Fox is so gentle, understanding an gives me time to calm down. Her staff is the same. Highly recommend her especially for cowards like me.
