The Liveoak Cemetery Association was founded on May 1, 1927. J.N. Billingsley was the Pre-Organizaton Supervisor. The First Officer's were as follows President: Louis Ballard, Treasurer: Hugh Summerford, Secretary: Mrs. Tom Smith, Directors: O.O.O Newton, Jack Billingsley, and Edd Belvin. The Land for the cemetery was given by J.M Owens and his wife Permelia Owens. The Liberty- Ohio Homecoming and Liveoak Cemetery Association meeting is held the first Saturday in May every year, at the church build out at the cemetery.
