Lovely park. Can't wait to take my little one to the playground after they're born. The mile trail around the pond is manageable even at 27weeks pregnant, with plenty of resting spots and scenic benches. Playground: The playground seems popular Restrooms: Handicap accessible Dog-friendliness: Saw lots of pups and dog lovers on the trails Picnic area: Picnic areas overlooking the pond , playground and parking areas
Great and safe place for outdoor activities and social outings with others. Great trails and paths, cared for fields for sports and recreation, exercise and physical health, or just to kill some time and enjoy the scenery. Some park users can be judgemental of others who also want and love to use the park but have fallen on hard times but are not instantly assumed to be a bad person. I have been directly judged by people regularly, from looks and glares, or sometimes more direct and, even, malice. Please be kinder to those who are struggling but still caring and good people who are making do with what little they have.
This park is great I use it for my maternity photos. Nice bridges plenty of space on the trail for bikes, strollers etc. very nice pond in the middle with water fountain. Always ducks to be seen. Nice big playground for older kids and then in the back smaller playground for little kiddos. Has a couple picnic tables just at the beginning of trail. Also has approximately 3 benches throughout the trail to sit and rest. There are bathrooms near the parking lot. Very bumpy trail so careful not to trip. Also nice for dogs. Don’t forget to pick up after your dog there is some poop so watch where you step. Very well kept park. Playground: There’s two one for older kids one for younger then also swings Restrooms: Dirty but what do you expect it’s a park bathroom not a restaurant Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly Picnic area: There’s only two in the beginning that I noticed
Love the Ike walk around the pond. Playground for the kids, fields to play Ball and an outdoor public pool, when applicable. All with restrooms, what more can you ask for. Didn’t bring a picnic lunch walk across the street to the Puritan for world famous chicken fingers and ice cream.
if you want to get some fresh air and your child wants to ride a bike this is the perfect place!
Such a beautiful trail any time of the year. Dog-friendliness: One of my pups favorite walking trails.
Great park overall. We personally use the Dorrs pond 1 mile trail to walk around the pond. The park always has a decent amount of visitors and I feel safe walking by myself. They also have public restrooms, a large parking lot playground, fishing in the pond and benches/picnic tables.
I've been coming to this park for nearly 20 years. It's totally people and dog friendly for walking or jogging. The trail is through the woods so it's almost all shaded. People young and old are here everyday. It's safe if you're by yourself too! The trail is 1 mile around the pond. There are well maintained sports fields and a track. There is a large play ground w equipment for children all ages. There are picnic tables. There are benches all around the pond along the trail too. There is a boat ramp and fishing. Not sure what they're catching but the pond is shallow.
Livingston Park is the best place to bring your kids. Great playground, clean bathrooms, picnic areas, pool, walking trail and a nice pond. My kids always enjoy their time there.
Beautiful park with public pool for the hot summer days, race track for speed work days, trail for run/bike, and even a playground for the little ones. Excellent place.
