The Staff at City Hall is Extremely Helpful and Nice.
This city needs to do a lot of updating Stuff zero help for the community
This location is beautifully landscaped. The buildings are kept well. They sit well back from the road. It is easy in and easy out at this location. One detraction is that some of the buildings have signs stating that they are not another building - for example the Fire Department Administration Building they have their own building has a sign in the middle of the parking approach states it is not the court building. That's a little strange but does its job. I would not want to have carry out business at different departments at this complex because it is a fairly complex complex. My remarks primarily are for the City Hall building which is massive. The glass is an interesting gold touch.
This was my first experience at Livonia City Hall, and the one thing I noticed is they had Covid protocols in place; which was important to me. The reason for my visit was to ask a question about the ballot form. I was assisted by woman, who was very helpful, and quite pleasant. I wish I had gotten her name. Overall the visit, was quite good.
They were very kind to us when we stopped to enquire about restroom facilities! Extremely friendly & helpful! Happy Holidays to everyone at Livonia City Hall.
The Zoning board committe are very bias. They rejected my deck proposal before they even heard my hardship. Apparently it only has to be a hardship for the committee. They made it very clear that My kids Safety is not in a priority for the livonia zoning board nor the residents in livonia. It's funny how the residents that don't live in your neighborhood can tell the committee they reject building a deck at your house that you bought and pay taxes on. .. Apparently it's ok for my next door neighbor to have a deck but not me. They went on to my private property to investigate without making me aware that they were at my residence. They muted me on a lot of zoom meeting where I need to "plead my case" to build a deck. Lol The only solution they gave me is if I don't like it I need to go to Wayne County court. I will do so. Our family was in need of an additional recycling bin for our house as we recycle constantly. We called ahead of time to see how we could get another recycling bin. We were put on hold twice first for a transfer to the Sanitation Department, second while the Sanitation Department lady was busy, although the total wait time total was about 5 minutes. Our calls were answered professionally. When we arrived at Livonia City Hall, we found the service to be efficient and moderately fast. The staff, although busy, is always willing to lend a helping hand. Without little to any trouble, we signed a form for our bin which was free, by the way and were on our way. The building itself is a little worn, though it has that retro look.

Very organized for people that want to vote early!! Job well done livonia!! From city hall workers to officers-you all made it easy to do our civic duty!! Thank you Livonia City Hall!!
