Livonia Spree

About

Hotdogs, apple pie and SPREE!! Each year the people of Livonia celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the City with a week-long birthday party, (the last full week in June). Held at Ford Field at the corner of Farmington Road and Lyndon

Description

Each year, Livonia Spree attracts, on average, 350,000 to 400,000 visitors to its carnival, civic food booths, Family Day, free concerts and dances, fantastic fireworks (at a cost of $50,000+) and other fun filled activities. Because Spree uses its Supporter’s products extensively throughout the festival, each Supporter company can expect to receive high visibility through the use of their products on the Spree grounds and in advertising directed to the Livonia community.
After expenses, 50% of Livonia Spree’s proceeds are donated to Livonia Parks and Recreation. The Livonia Spree also contributes the remaining proceeds to local high school All-Night Graduation parties, St. Mary Mercy Hospital’s Angela Hospice, First Step, Livonia Community Foundation, American Cancer Society, Livonia Orchestra and the Spree Scholarship program.
Livonia Spree is fun and profitable for local civic and non-profit groups, which run various concession stands. The Spree Board administers beer sales and insures exclusive sale rights for all Supporters at Spree's civic food booths and arena activities. As noted above, with nearly 400,000 visitors each year, supporters enjoy major recognition and sales benefits.
If your company is interested in participating in the Spree Supporter program, please contact us and we will provide you with a Supporter package.

Always an awesome time when the store comes to town. Fun for everyone one from the life music and the beer tent to the rides for everyone and don't forget those favorite Carnival snacks and treats!!
Great fun and entertaining experience for the whole family.
Kids had a great time. A lot of police presence
Always fun, good music, food and drinks and a car show to boot! Just visited again 2022.. Excellent time! Update, 2023.. listening to the country band, familytradition, which is new to the Fri night band stage.
Hate that people refuse to use the provided shuttle and parking and fill my neighborhood streets with cars. But I love the spree always great food. Happy faces and fun times
It's fun. About what you'd expect from a large carnival; rides, expensive food and drink. Parking shuttles are free, which is nice.
Great selection of rides and food, set up nicely so you're not walking in circles or running into people. The lines were surprisingly not long, and when they were longer in the evening they moved pretty quick. There was lots of security around so I felt safe being there alone with my 9 year old step son. Everything is so expensive though! It was $4 for a bottle of water and it was very hot! They should consider having water stations or finding a sponsor that provides water. Also, walking into the fair you get bombarded with promotional tents and a few of them were coming up to you or yelling at you offering religious information and bibles, was not chill.
50 Amp Fuse was great. Crowded but not bad. Food choices are a bit disappointing. Several carnival options but the only pizza truck was out of power.
So excited that the Spree is back! There are fewer rides this year, but still so fun to see everyone of all ages reuniting with friends, whether it be on the rides, at the petting zoo, or in the music tent.
It was packed and it's a long wait for everything. The police presence was nice and made us feel safe. Good times it's just hard waiting on like like it's cedar point
