Quiet place. Deer grazing by river and fields. WiFi limited to or very near club house. Pay washer and dryers.
All the amenities, with a "clubhouse" & cable channels for patrons use. At the spring equinox, plenty of wildlife, clear night sky, & a river for amusement. Hill country is a photographic excursion. This is our second year of visiting, enjoyed our stay & the festival. This spring season has brought many migrating birds through the park.
We only had two nights here but would definitely recommend this place. Very quiet, well kept and friendly. We are self contained in our Class A but it looked like they had showers and laundry. Take a stroll down to the Llano River and enjoy the solitude.Location: 5/5
Wow! This is the nicest RV park I've been to. Rates were good for electric, water, and sewer, campground is very close to the water although only some of the spots can see it from their vehicles. Clubhouse thing is fantastic with tons of games, great Wifi that can be used from the surrounding spots, nice individual bathrooms, they even have a gym and kitchen. Interacted with the host/manager a handful of times and she has always been super friendly & helpful. I would definitely return.
We were surprised about the comfort of the whole camping: A wonderful clubhouse with well maintained private washing rooms with clean and hot showers and separate exercise room. The sites are big and except the overflow spots they‘re all full hook ups and drive throughs. Guests and officials are very helpful and friendly. We liked it to extend our stay...
Not for family weekend camping. The space between the sites is very small with part of it being a parking spot, majority do not have picnic tables, and none have fire rings. The bathrooms were very clean as was the campground and the staff was friendly and helpful. My kids enjoyed the park and we made the most of the river access pretty lacking, not as pictured. This campground is geared toward full timers not families who want to hang out outside and enjoy the camping experience. If you need an easy place to stay to see Enchanted Rock easy 30 minute drive or Llano with full hook ups this is a great place. If you want to hang out outside your camper and enjoy the river, keep searching.
Just spent 4 days at this campground. It was very peaceful and had access to the river. It had clean bathrooms/ showers with nice gathering room. We loved the easy access to the beauty of the Texas Hill Country. Would definitely come back.
This park itself is fine, but a word of caution to Digital Nomads: if you arrive on a Sunday without reservations, don't expect to be able to access the WiFi. The office is closed on Sunday, the WiFi password is not posted anywhere on the office or on posted literature for late arrivals, and repeated calls to the after hours number went unanswered. We chose to stay at this park specifically because of the WiFi. I work on the road, but I was unable to work here without the WiFi. This is a big disappointment for the park. One star off for poor service. Also, the park's website is currently down, and online reservations are impossible. Another star off for this shortcoming.
Location is just as you cross the Llano bridge from the north, turn right on highway 152. Sites are gravel with one foot wide concrete curbs between the gravel drive and grass. There is "grass" weeds in between the sites and there are a few young trees. There are long pull through sites. The park is very well maintained. The club house is immaculate with a full kitchen and dishes. Fresh eggs are $3 a dozen. Roads are gravel. They do not have trash pickup at the site; there is a dumpster at one end of the park. ATT was 5 out of 5 bars. Verizon was 2 out of 4 bars LTE. WiFi was pass worded and had excellent speed and strength ONLY at the club house. Electricity was 20, 30, and 50 amp on lighted pedestals. Water and electricity were at the back of the site, sewer needed an extension for a longer connection to the middle of the site. Sewer connection was screw in. Cable with over 40 channels. Sand burs are really bad for dogs, people with bare feet, and kids. There were some flies. We didn't notice any mosquitoes. The way the sites are pointed, the sun rises on the house door and awning and the sun sets on the street side of the trailer. Since the house door and awning face east, in afternoon they are shaded. Bunch of workmen camped here in newer, well-maintained trailers and newer trucks. Be sure to visit Cooper's BBQ in town and Castell General store 15 miles away. We camped at Riverway RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
I did not have a.plesent experience with this particular rv park. I found the management to be judgemental. Rude, invasive and intrusive. They made many false assumptions about both myself and any and everyone that visited me while.i was there. In. Brief 1 month 30day stay i was accused of many violations that honestly.i didn't agree.with violating based on false information. I found them to be prejudice against my Hispanic friends., male friends, and anyone.the.man I was working for deamed he didnt like. The entire llano experience was horrible. Except for the lady at the sign shop.Angie. she was precious. Helpful and kind. And she did great work. Sign from Above and the city zoning manager and permit department. Both very nice gentlemen. With professional nature and all around good fellas. Other than that it was a terrible place and I couldn't get Way fast enough. The park was hateful, the crew judgemental and I found them to be bigots to say the least. Never ever again would.i stay there. And I wouldn't recommend it to my enemies. The park itself was ok I guess the the staff,.management and owner were a compete nightmare. Something I judt.didnr think existed.in.our world.today People being judged and falsely accused based on the color of theyre.skin. to my friends.i.apologize profeticaly im sorry for a of us we were subject.to such ugliness and hateful misdirected hatred. We obviously, lovers of the world and all who are in ot didn't belong there and they made no hesitation in letting us know that. As we were refused accommodation there after our initial 30 days. So so glad to be far away from the park and the town.
