Pretty good deals, decent variety and has a couple of actual Mexican products La Costeña beans and adobo, Mexican Coca-Cola, charras Tostadas. Also have some tomatillos green tomatoes and chiles Serrano, Poblano, etc. Check them out in the photos!
I like shopping here although it's a bit pricy. This review and low rating is for the chicken. See photo. They used those elastic bungee cords instead of twine to tie up the chicken for BBQ. I'm pretty sure these aren't food grade and definitely not as environmentally friendly as twine.
Very very clean and tidy and staff are on the ball even when just opening super friendly does not judge and they give a sense being welcomed in the store nice and calm easy to navigate and everything looks fresh i would dare say this is by far the cleanest and most welcoming loblaws in all of b.c koodos to management at this location stellar job
I was glad to have a grocery store nearby when they opened in 2015. Friendly staff especially Dawn and Monika. Large underground parking or park along Arbutus St after 7pm. I like that you won't need any coins for their shopping carts.
We ordered a full sheet birthday cake - strawberry shortcake - the cake was amazing - thanks to the bakery department
1 of 2 grocers in Kits open till 11p. It's a fairly new build, nicely laid out. It's not huge so pretty easy to walk around. Focus on convenience meals with lots of hot and cold meals to go in the deli area. Quality produce but anything on sale is sold out before 9pm. There is a little cafe with seating inside. It's a Loblaws store so sometimes they have some really good flyer deals, but overall it's EXPENSIVE. If No Frills is the cheaper little brother to Superstore this is the fancy, older sister in the chain.
Its nice local store for the area . Its owned by loblaws so its a high end fancier version of no frills . They have a awsome cake area here . It has a underground parking lot and its next to the Arbutus greenway and the #33 & #16 busses stops here
I like this store in my neighborhood, especially the small café inside. The store is spacious and well organized, clean, and carries a lot of products. The meat and seafood are always fresh. I’d like to get my yoghurt and oat milk here, of which they have many varieties and at reasonable prices. I used to come daily to their cafe for fresh made breakfast sandwiches and coffee before COVID. Today, I came again. And Marla at the counter was very patient to customize my breakfast sandwich. Although it was busy, she still came to ask the customers how their breakfasts were. I highly recommend this store, especially their breakfast sandwiches and coffee.
Small, awkward location. HORRIBLE self checkout layout worst I've ever seen, and some very rude employees. Seriously, the training problems here go all the way back to 2018, based on reviews. Does anybody care about respect or customer service? I'm usually dealing with employees who seem to do more chit chatting and gossiping than actually helping customers. Except for the prison warden at the self checkout. Those guys have no issue breathing down peoples necks and making everyone feel like a thief. Perhaps end the broken method of hiring friends and actually hire people who want to do a good job, as opposed to people who are treating the work environment like a clubhouse and then picking up their paycheque. Any more aggression or hostility from your immature staff will be forwarded to head office. And for the minority staff who go above and beyond to make up for all of this, my sincerest thanks. TL;DR: The alcoholic cashier at the dollar store has more manners than this entire store COMBINED squared. Frankly, you should be paying ME to put up with this.
Great local, very nice store, parking and good price points, staff are very nice. If you go in later they have half priced meals and sandwiches. Not huge but does the trick in our community and so much better than the IGA!!
