Lobster Louies

I followed Lobster Louies when it was initially a food truck. So pleased that opened up their restaurant. A small wait for the dine in experience, but worth it for fresh and delicious food. My shrimp mac and cheese was very decadent.

08/09/2017 A friend and I went to Lobster Louies for lunch. I have to admit that I was a little leery having read the reviews here. But I'm very glad to say that I had a very enjoyable time. The server was polite and attentive. He checked several times to see if we needed anything and if our food was to our liking. Our orders were out in about 15 minutes. I had the seafood stir-fry. Most excellent! There was so much food that I couldn't eat it all. I would cheerfully go back there again! Oh, and they have *real* Coke there! In a bottle, made with real sugar. *Bliss*

Not very impressed with the resteraunt. Called an hour ahead because we had a party of 12. This was our first time eating there so maybe what they serve on the truck us better but we were very surprised at the portion size compared to the price. I realize sea food is not cheap but this was ridiculous. Half of our party got there early and was seated. When we got there we had to wait another 20 minutes for a certain table to open so they could put it together with the others. Though there was a couple empty. My food was cold, my sons fries weren't cooked all the way. Some of the others were not impressed with there meals either. I'm pretty sure they charged an extra dollar for the fries. The food came out at different intervals. So those that ordered first ate first while the rest of us waited. We traveled over an hour because the reviews said it was really good. We definitely won't be back. The owners seemed nice and I realize they just opened so I am hoping they make some changes or they won't be open long.

The best lobster roll i have ever had! The owner is really cool. Staff very friendly. The kids even got little stuffed lobsters for coming in! I can't believe they don't have a line around the block. We will be back every time we are in town. Only complaint is I'll probably be craving this for months. ;

Good food friendly staff. Medium portions. We were the only people their when we went but that has nothing to do with the food. A lot of options. The stir fry was good with decent amount of sea food but would be better with something other then plain white rice. 16 for a small lobster claw and leg roll with three onion rings and some Cole slaw. But good amount of meat on the small piece of bread. Overall good, would go back, but not 5 star meant to say 3.5 did have a weird vibe kids were employees doing inventory the whole time we ate on the other side or listening to the kitchen talk about cars to each other.... but it was slow I'm sure if their was music it would have drowned all of that out.

Had party of 7 with 4 paying customers, and we all had a $5 coupon and they would only accept one coupon per table! How cheap is that? Took forever for the coffee to brew, need to have a pot ready all the time! Onion rings and fish were cool, cole slaw needed more dressing. Meal was slow coming out and didn't bring all the meals out at the same time. One person was almost done eating by the time the last person got their meal! Very disappointing! Waiter was very friendly and tried too hard to make up for everything else.

Everything tasted okay but we won't be back because the prices were high and the portions were TINY. Specifically the Lobster rolls were ridiculous. They were the size of a small hotdog, came with nothing else and cost 15.99 a peice. We were shocked when they came out. The Lobster mac and cheese was a better value but since we spent about 90$ for 4 people we also got appitizers and two had to get something else to eat on the way home I don't know how we could possibly be satisfied with the experience.

Service was SLOW! 35 minute wait on our appetizer and 45 on the actual food. Food was decent but small portions for the price. Appetizer and main meal also came out cool. I will try it again perhaps when they are around for a while longer.

I wanted to like you Louie, I really did. However there were too many failures. $16 for a lobster roll that is essentially a piece of sandwich bread folded in half with a little bit of lobster in between. The bisque is the first in my life that I didn't finish. If I didn't have old Bay seasoning at the table to doctor it up I would have sent it back. The amount of gristle in the bisque was a total letdown for a restaurant with lobster in it's name. Server was quiet and muted. Overall it was a one and done for me....

Thought it was odd first time i went me and my friend were the only one their...food was decent. the stir fry comes with plain white rice, not friend or rice piloff sure spelled wrong-but its a review not spelling comp i had the lobster roll- decent , not tail though. So i thought il give it another try had to be a fluke... Today i went got the 2 lobster tails on a stick with side and salad... The lobster was the size of a decent shrimp at a good restaraunt. The mac and cheese was disgusting, it tasted like undercooked noodles with a piece of cheap single slice of cheese swear im not exaggerating- it was even worse then that you better have a big glass of water if you plan to swallow that mac n cheese.. Now i know y its empty everytime..
